About the Programme:

St Johns College, using the Project Search model, works with Amazon to support interns develop workplace skills. The programme runs from September for one academic year, with interns based at the workplace five days a week. Supported internships also benefit employers to learn what young people with additional needs can contribute and achieve.

As a Job Coach, you will play a pivotal role in our interns' journey towards paid employment and independent living. You'll have the chance to work closely with our interns, providing on-the-job coaching and implementing improvement strategies tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.

About the Role

The Mental Health Recovery Worker supports individuals within the community, to improve mental health and wellbeing, through focussed 1:1s and structured interventions. At times this may mean deescalating crisis.

The role will be part of a larger Recovery Lounge team made up of Mental Health Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers and volunteers.

About the Recovery Lounge Service

Our Recovery Lounges offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment outside of normal working hours for those who feel in mental distress or crisis. The role will involve assessing needs and offering one to one support to service users to enable them to begin the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing and to providing clarity on services and pathways available in the area.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working with individuals experiencing mental health and wellbeing issues, experience of working in a small service within a wider organisation, including delivering a service against performance targets and have the ability to Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with a wide range of people. They will have good communication, motivational and negotiation skills and understand the wellbeing needs of and working with people with mental health needs, including those from culturally diverse communities.

Trusts and other grant-makers are an important source of funding for our charity. As we look ahead, we’re expanding our Trusts fundraising portfolio to meet the growing needs of our programmes. This is where you come in.

As our Trusts Fundraising Officer, you’ll be an inspiring storyteller whose enthusiasm for our work shines through in your writing. You’ll play a key role in researching new funders, crafting compelling funding applications and keeping our supporters engaged with our work. Your work will involve developing case studies and gathering evidence to show the need for our services. This will help secure sustainable funding. You’ll be supported by our experienced Trusts Fundraising Manager to build lasting relationships with funders. Together, you’ll keep them engaged and informed about the positive impact they’re making on the young people we support.

The Trusts Fundraising Officer must be self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, have good administration skills and understand the “power of the outdoors”.  Paid or voluntary experience in a fundraising environment is essential.  This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to take the next step in their career, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and experience within a supportive team. Whilst the role is home-based you must live in the South West to ensure easy access for in-person meetings.

Our Helpline and expert advisers offer free, practical support to older people without enough money to live on. Responsibilities and Person Specification:

This role is dedicated to building lived experience participation at Independent Age.  We want to deliver more opportunities for a greater variety of people with lived experience of financial hardship in later life to shape our work in meaningful ways.  

The role will be responsible for developing a lived experience participation network ensuring that our existing and growing work in this area can be delivered smoothly, ethically and in line with best practice and making sure that the voices of those most at risk of financial hardship can be heard. The role will champion and encourage participatory practice across the organisation, developing the long term lived experience strategy and supporting the organisation to learn and grow in this area. 

You should have strong experience of designing, running and supporting participatory activity, particularly with those with lived experience of a pressing social issue.  You will be passionate about making change for those with experience of financial hardship in later life and bring an understanding of what barriers there might be to taking part and how to overcome them.   Exceptional organisational skills are a must, along with great communication and the ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.

The Role

The Operations Manager is a key hire within our small but highly effective Operations Unit, sitting alongside a People Operations Manager and reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting CLTR’s overall operations, working across units and delivering projects spanning cybersecurity, finance, administration, data protection, office management and others.

This is a hands-on, generalist role suited to a skilled and self-motivated operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable switching between strategic project management and day-to-day delivery. You will have the confidence to take on new challenges and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, contractors and external service providers to drive impact.

You will take ownership of key operational systems and processes, lead on our internal cybersecurity and IT operations (in partnership with our external managed service provider), and support a range of compliance, administrative, and organisational improvement projects. As the organisation grows, this role will be central to building the infrastructure that supports a scaling team.

What you’ll do:

Project & Operations Management

• Project manage key operational initiatives from initiation through to delivery, maintaining clear plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication.

• Support the Director of Operations in developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with the organisation's growth plans.

• Identify inefficiencies in existing systems and processes and drive improvements, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned to scale.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Engagement Programme 

• Plan, co-ordinate and deliver an engaging public programme of visitor led events, aimed at building new audiences and boosting our visitor numbers 
• Work with the Head of Engagement, to develop the group visit offer, ensuring forthcoming anniversaries and activities are exploited 
• Support the Head of Engagement to deliver the Social Justice Programme, identifying opportunities within existing talks and tours programming to further support the annual theme
• Provide administration of all groups and public tours, ensuring they are booked and co-ordinated accurately 
• Coordinate with the Audience Development Coordinator to evaluate visitor and volunteer feedback, taking action to make improvements as necessary

• Work with the Finance Team, ensure all fees for engagement events are invoiced and paid for in advance 

 Relationships 

• Line management of the Cathedral Guides volunteer team, working with the Head Guide to ensure guides are kept up to date of Cathedral policy and are trained and delivering excellent customer service 
• Work with the Verging and Property team to ensure events are coordinated and delivered to a high professional standard  

 Other 

• Support the Head of Engagement to deliver large scale public events providing administrating and on the day delivery support

Role Description

The IPNEd Secretariat’s role is to ensure that IPNEd members can exercise their unique functions as Members of Parliament as effectively as possible to accelerate educational progress. Timely and effective internal and external communication is central to this work.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Communications Officer to lead the delivery of content to expand IPNEd’s reach, grow audiences, and drive meaningful engagement with MPs and our wider stakeholders. 

You will develop and implement strategies to strengthen IPNEd’s communications channels, collaborate with our partners to design and implement communication strategies, and support our global priorities.

The role also involves supporting internal communications with our parliamentary membership, including maintaining our membership database.

You will also monitor the performance of our communications efforts, identifying and testing ways to improve reach and engagement to ensure continuous improvement and impact.

We are looking for someone who can be proactive, efficient, and flexible in supporting all aspects of IPNEd's internal and external communications. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment in which you will play a central role in identifying and responding to external developments.

Salary, benefits, and other key information

IPNEd is hosted by Results UK. The line manager for this role will be IPNEd’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser.

1. Starting date 

The position is available immediately, and is offered as an initial 12-month contract with the intention of being extended if funding permits.

2. Salary 

This role is graded at Results Professional Level Two with a salary of £32,785 per annum.

3. Hours of work

This is a full time role 35 hours a week. These hours will be worked as agreed with the line manager, but some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the job. There is no paid overtime, but Results UK offers a flexitime system for all staff. 

4. Holidays 

25 days per year plus bank holidays. Holidays increase by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. Holidays are earned in arrears. 

5. Notice Period and Probationary Period

This role has a one-month notice period. The employee will have a probationary period of three months, during which time the notice period is one week.

6. Location

The post is a hybrid role with the expectation that the postholder can work from Results’ office at Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, 6 St George’s Circus, London, SE1 6FE when required.

Currently, most Results UK staff are combining working from home with time in the office. 

7. Travel

Occasional International travel will be required. The post holder must be able and willing to travel to Global North and Global South countries.

8. Additional Benefits

Staff joining Results are automatically enrolled in our company pension scheme unless they choose to opt out. A legally mandated minimum employee contribution applies, and all employee contributions to the pension are matched 1:1 by Results up to a maximum of 5% of gross salary.

Staff may receive a tax-efficient loan for the purchase of a bike, through which the final price of the cycle is lower than on the market.

Staff may receive a loan for the purchase of a travel season ticket.

We are currently transitioning from outsourced technology consultancy to in-house technology support and are looking to recruit a Director of Technology to transform the way we gather, manage and work with data across the organisation, reviewing and reshaping the core platforms that hold our donor, income, financial and people data.

Reporting to the Chief Executive key priorities of the role include:

• Leading the development and implementation of our technology, digital, AI and data strategy
• Identifying how technology and data management can best support all aspects of our organisation
• Strengthening confidence and capability in the effective use of technology and data, by identifying learning needs, helping to train colleagues and supporting the adoption of new systems to drive sustainable change.
• Advising the Senior Leadership Team on technology-related opportunities, risks and prioritisation.
• Identifying where improvements in systems integration and data flow optimisation are needed, proposing and agreeing solutions and leading on implementation
• Conducting a formal review of our CRMs, identifying alternatives and agreeing solutions with key stakeholders, leading on procurement, implementation and migration of any solutions.

You should have:

• Proven technical expertise and experience at a senior level, or a strong step-up candidate ready for a leadership role
• Strong background in IT infrastructure & business-driven data management.
• Proven track record of leading a major systems migration or platform consolidation end-to-end
• Daily use of AI productivity and automation tools (e.g. Claude, Microsoft Copilot) with a clear view on practical applications for a charity of WJR's scale.
• Practical DevOps and cloud experience, including servers, networking, security, Linux/Unix, and Azure.
• Experience with Data Visualisation, warehousing and database technologies (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, PostgreSQL and MySQL)
• Knowledge of Data Privacy, Data Security, and Compliance regulations (GDPR).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate complex technical terminology for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
