NHS Providers’ Development programmes team delivered a range of training and development activities for NHS boards and foundation trust governors. The team delivers over 200 events annually. We are looking for a senior development programmes coordinator to take responsibility for the efficient coordination of this work, elements of which are delivered virtually, in-person or hybrid.
In addition, the postholder will have responsibility for the effective line management to some of the team’s programme administrators/assistants.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a busy, high-performing team working across two of NHS Providers’ successful programmes – GovernWell and the Board Development Programme. The individual should have excellent programme coordination skills, the ability to work effectively across multiple projects will be critical to success. The postholder will be an excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally. They must be able to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team. Along with being analytical and insightful, the postholder will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail. We have an opportunity for a Customer Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Affairs Team on a 12 month fixed term basis, working 30 hours a week.
You'll be based from our Basingstoke office, although with offices in Bristol, Christchurch, Exeter and Newbury, we can be flexible on your base location.

The Role
You'll support the business in achieving its priorities through effective customer communications, advising on the right channels and messages to keep SNG's customers informed and engaged.
As a Customer Communications Specialist you'll create, develop, execute and project manage strategic and tactical communication plans. This will involve producing and delivering creative, engaging content and campaigns for our customers through multiple channels, including web, social media, email and SMS, direct mail and more.
It's an exciting time at SNG as we integrate our communications for former Sovereign and former Network Homes customers and establish a Community Foundation. You'll be part of supporting the transformation and change programme as we move forward together.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with key stakeholders, listening to and understanding their communication requirements and providing them with expert support.
- Working to align customer communications with external and internal communications, and with our strategy and values.
- Managing and measuring the effectiveness of our communications, including external benchmarking and best practice.
- Understanding the pressures and issues facing the social housing sector and keeping up to date with best practice in Communications and PR, particularly changes to communications innovation, legislation and codes of practice and sharing this insight with colleagues.
What we're looking for
This position would suit candidates who have previous Customer Communication experience, possibly in a housing association, local authority or similar non-profit organisation.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt your tone and write copy/create campaigns designed to generate a response or change in behaviour.
- Demonstrable experience of producing engaging customer content and campaigns.
- Experience of briefing and working with designers and creatives.
- A good understanding of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and Publisher.

About Hope for the Young
Hope for the Young is on a mission to remove the obstacles to young refugees and asylum-seeker’s education and well-being through a bespoke package of one-to-one mentoring, advocacy, and financial support.
Founded in 2008, Hope for the Young has grown from a small grant-making charity led by its Trustees to an organisation that, last year, worked closely alongside 135 young people, with 11 staff members, and 150 dedicated volunteer mentors.
Our Mentoring Programme operates London-wide and matches young refugees and asylum-seekers aged 16-25 with trained volunteer mentors who provide tailored one-to-one support and advice according to their needs.
Our Grants and Advocacy Programme promotes equal access to education for young refugees and asylum-seekers across the UK whose immigration status makes them ineligible for student finance, and those who are facing extreme financial hardship. About the Role
As our Fundraising and Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and expanding our impact so that more young refugees can access the education and one-to-one support they need to rebuild their lives in the UK. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic fundraising campaigns, cultivating relationships with donors and supporters, writing funding applications, and effectively communicating our message to a range of audiences.

As Local Mobilisation Officer, you will support the delivery of our ambitious programme to mobilise food banks in the Trussell network to campaign for change. You will support the development and delivery of campaign content and resources for our food bank network, leading on specific elements as required and ensuring people with lived experience are at the heart of their campaigning. · Support the OLM team to develop robust participation structures for Organising and Mobilising:

· Identify patterns and trends from the food bank network’s local and regional campaigning activity, and feedback on these.
