You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.

As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key trust representatives.
• Prepare, submit and monitor applications to charitable trusts including the maintenance of records of applications, grant receipts and successful/failed submissions. Ensure Trusts are thanked for donations in timely fashion.
• Updating the CRM system to ensure activities, communications, donations and other important details are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with Charitable trusts.
• Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring all donations or grants are coded appropriately, including any restrictions upon the use of the income.
• Creating monthly reports on trust income received.
• Support regular and individual giving, corporate, legacy and other income streams.
• Provide general administrative and wider Fundraising team support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

About the Role

Humanists International has another separate entity based in the US. This role will be a part of the UK operations team but will collaborate with the US finance team occasionally when it’s required, for example, during the audit period. Both UK and US finance teams are managed by the same Director of Finance and Operations who is based in London. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can provide excellent finance and administrative support to the small, predominantly home-based team. We’re seeking someone who is personable, highly organised, has attention to detail and is keen to take initiative and learn new skills. Onboarding training will be provided, but we would like you to demonstrate transferable skills. 

You will work on a wide variety of tasks which will include bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, being the first point of contact for the organisation, as well as providing general administrative support to the team. You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across a diverse international team.

This is a full-time or part-time with a minimum of 4 days/week (0.8 FTE), permanent position, which is predominantly home-based but does require the attendance of in-person events such as the General Assembly and Team Building. Key Responsibilities

• Taking charge of the day-to-day financial activities and office administration of the organisation.

Roots to Wellbeing project aims:

• Provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to receive weekly support.
• Help participants to connect with nature and socialise with others to feel happier, less anxious and less isolated.
• Support participants to access other beneficial services, where appropriate, including health, social and financial.
• Support participants to move onto outdoor work or volunteering with friends of groups where appropriate.
• Facilitate a positive journey through the service for participants to ensure as many people as possible can access the service.

The role 

The roles has four main areas of work:

1. Leadership and management:

• Lead the Roots to Wellbeing team to reach its goals. 
• Line manage and support three Mental Health Officers, each delivering Roots to Wellbeing on one site.
• Work with local communities and other team members to explore new opportunities for the project and develop solutions.
• Work with CEO and Head of Fundraising to secure funding for project development.

2. Project management: 

• Oversee the delivery and development of the project to meet key KPIs.
• Collate qualitative and quantitative data and produce impact reports for funders. 
• Support team to ensure administrative records are kept up to date, including but not limited to: maintaining accurate participant records, work programme, incident reporting, risk management, external outreach, website.
• Develop a thorough communications strategy and build on current local referral relationships to further embed the programme within the VCSE & Health sector.
• Ensure service standard and quality is consistent across sites and policies and procedures are followed. 
• Recruit and induct volunteers to support session delivery.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders within and across the organisation to deliver project goals.
• Attend networking meetings and community events to raise awareness of the project and demonstrate its impact. 

3. Session delivery at Hartcliffe Millennium Green: 

• Continually build and maintain relationships with local referral partners to achieve a consistent referral rate into the project. 
• Deliver weekly Roots to Wellbeing sessions by; planning and facilitating delivery of sessions and activities in line with 5 pathways to nature connectedness and that are accessible to all participants, organising logistics of sessions such as travel, food and equipment, acting as safeguarding lead during sessions, liaising with co-facilitator, leading peer-support style check in at the beginning of the sessions and the grounding and meditation at the end.
• Lead on all direct communication with participants at Hartcliffe Millennium Green. Support them to create personalised development plans, signposting and referrals where needed.

Office Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

The Office Coordinator position is responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the London, UK office.  Due to the nature of this position, work must generally be performed within a 30 hours / week timeframe (M-Fri). This role is an in-office role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:

· General administration as required: call handling and forwarding, front door access controls, post management, post requests, staff access, etc.

· Support of facilities management: oversight of cleaning and maintenance contractors, management of office supplies and procurement, equipment maintenance requests, liaison with building management.

· Facilitating work from home set-ups and procurement and coordinating distribution to personnel as requested.

Look Ahead is looking for a highly motivated and committed Housing & Income Officer for an initial 6-month placement to work alongside our support workers and deliver a good quality intensive housing management service to our customers.

There will some working from home, though the right candidate will be able to travel, as the role involves being out on sight visiting customers in their homes and having a presence in the community. This role covers Bracknell Forest in Berkshire, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead region.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract, lasting 6-9 months.

What you'll do:

* Sign up new customers to the appropriate occupancy agreement and ensure housing benefit claims submitted and maintained correctly.
* Be responsible for monitoring and updating all relevant information on Look Ahead`s housing management database including inputting all new customers and ending occupancy agreements in a timely way.
* Proactively monitor rent accounts and take timely and effective action to deal with increasing rent and service charge arrears.
* Ensure all customers are supported to have the most appropriate payment method (rent payment cards, direct debit etc.) for their individual circumstances to ensure easy payment of their rent and/or arrears.
* Lead on making back-dated claims for housing benefit and appealing over-payment deductions.
* Ensure that all customers are kept informed of their rent account status regularly and that action plans are agreed with customers to address any arrears or other rent related issues promptly.

- Extensive knowledge of welfare benefits, especially housing benefit.
- Experience of liaising with housing benefit departments, the DWP and other external agencies.
- Confidence in interpreting rent accounts and using IT packages to run and create reports, identify priorities, and update records.

Desirable:

- 1-2 years' experience in housing management.

About this role

The role of the Finance and Payroll Manager is to support the Development and Finance teams to manage and report on restricted income, as well as to manage monthly in-house payroll under the guidance of the Head of Finance. This involves ensuring that we are maximising the use of restricted funding, and that money is spent in line with donors’ wishes and that staff are paid accurately and on time each month. The Finance and Payroll Manager will work within a small Finance team under the supervision of the Head of Finance. They will work closely with the Joint ED, wider Senior Management Team, Head of Development and budget holders throughout the organisation.

They will support the Head of Finance with annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting as well as with the production of the monthly management accounts. They will support the Development team in making grant applications and develop restricted grant budgets for newly secured grants for integration into the organisational budget; they will meet regularly with the Development team and budget holders to review restricted project spend. They will produce reports for funders working in conjunction with our Development Team and casework teams. The Finance and Payroll Manager will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement of the finance systems, processes and grant management tools to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose.

Contract and location

The role is a full-time, permanent position with an annual salary of £50,571 per annum less any required deductions for Income Tax and National Insurance.

About the role:

As a Caseworker within this service, you will;

• Support people who are likely to be impacted by the effects of bereavement as well as being victims of crime
• Make calls to people referred to the service primarily by the police and our dedicated support line
• Assess their needs and any risks and agree a support plan
• Make regular contact with the individuals either by phone, video call or face to face as agreed with them
