Your Role

As our Assistant Director of Supporter Engagement, you'll be an integral part of our External Engagement team, reporting to our Executive Director. Your days will be filled with strategic challenges and opportunities as you lead and manage our supporter engagement activities. From developing fundraising strategies, to overseeing our diverse portfolio of fundraising products, your leadership will drive sustainable growth in voluntary income and support.

Senior Individual Giving Officer, an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic Children’s Charity at a very exciting time of investment and growth across Individual Giving and Mass Fundraising.

With long-term investment to grow the Individual Giving programme and across Mass Fundraising, it’s a very exciting time to join the charity and the Individual Giving team.

As the Senior Individual Giving Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of this programme. You will work closely with the Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, leading on a variety of campaigns across Individual Giving. Delivering and developing campaigns and appeals across cash, regular giving, payroll giving and legacies, using channels such as digital, direct mail, DRTV and direct dialogue.

Key responsibilities

• With the Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, develop the IG marketing plan, making recommendations to meet strategic goal.
• Deliver the activity plan considering learnings and recommendations, in line with the wider Income and Engagement Strategy.
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to budget across a variety of channels, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Develop creatives for campaigns with internal and agency support to increase response rates and growing income.
• Ensure a test and learn approach to build solid foundations on which to grow the programme.
• Regularly monitor the performance of campaigns and activities and report weekly against agreed KPIs.

To be successful in this Senior Individual Giving Offer role, you will have gained the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Working within fundraising in a similar Direct Marketing role, delivering and developing fundraising campaigns and activations in Individual Giving.
• Managing multi-channel Direct Marketing programmes across an array of channels such as: Direct Mail, Digital, DRTV, Telephone, Face to Face.
• Analysing data, results monitoring and KPI reporting, and using insight to make inform decisions.

What we do

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the ENN team as our Management Accountant - Grants.  The role provides the opportunity to work across the spectrum of ENN’s projects, as part of the operations team. You will be based in our headquarters in Oxfordshire and will work closely with ENN’s Finance Manager and Projects Team.

 About You

Bringing your experience of third sector accounting to ENN, you will be able to communicate well with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. You will be comfortable supporting complex projects, tailoring financial management information and reports to enable decision making and assuring donor compliance and reporting requirements are met consistently.

Terms and Conditions

• Hours of work: Part time, 60% of full-time hours (22.5 hours per week – pattern to be agreed)
• Type of contract: Permanent
• Location: This is an office-based position at ENN’s Head Office in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5. Some hybrid working may also be offered. Currently our Operations Teamwork from the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and we require this role to be in the office on these days.

Key responsibilities

 Grant compliance and reporting

• Financial compliance of grant spend in line with donor agreements ensuring no disallowable costs and that all allowable costs are reflected in the accounts correctly.
• Provide back up for grant financial reporting in the format required by donors for the projects team to review, collate and submit with the full donor reporting pack.
• Raise sales invoice to the donor with all back up attached and provide acknowledgement of funds letters upon receipt of cash in the bank.
• Work closely with the Finance Assistant and Projects team to ensure invoices are correctly coded to the right donor and project and complete month end reconciliations
• Input budget and quarterly reforecasts into the finance system (iplicit) and track grant performance against budgets on a regular basis providing variance analysis.
• Review and assimilate grant financial information for the Finance Manager and/or Project team as required which ultimately will be used as input in management reporting for various stakeholders (Technical budget holders, Management Team and Trustees).
• Support the organisation’s income generation ambitions, through the provision of advice, guidance and assistance, and in assisting with funding bids and budgeting and undertaking new funder/partner financial viability assessments as required.
• Maintain and update donor restricted fund balances/movements for year-end statutory reporting.
• Maintain project financial files and records for statutory audit and donor audit purposes.

Management accounting

• Prepare monthly income deferrals and income accruals and maintain month end trial balance reconciliations for management accounts.
• Capture any committed project costs to accrue.
• Apportion any interest earned from grant cash in the bank in line with donor contract terms.
• Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager on cash flow forecasting with regards to expected donor payments.
• As required by finance or the projects team, and working with iplicit, write reports in the finance system that would provide insightful and useful management information. For example, for grant monitoring and evaluation, trend analysis and assessing KPI’s etc

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, would consider part qualified or qualified by experience)
• Experience of charity-specific accounting and grant reporting requirements
• Experience working with grant funded projects and ability to navigate and communicate compliance requirements
• Experience in developing, monitoring, and reporting against budgets
• Able to present and visualise data in different ways for different audiences
• Ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, prioritising effectively, and able to work both autonomously and as a member of a dispersed and diverse team

Your role

As Temporary Shop Manager at Scope's New Milton shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. NOAH Enterprise is a charity which seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community, providing a practical, empowering and caring service to people who are struggling against homelessness and exclusion and have nowhere else to turn.

About the role

As the first Marketing and Communications Manager to join the organisation, you'll be part of the organisation's focus on investment in key roles to help create a sustainable future for the organisation as they diversify their audiences and scale up their services. * Implementing and managing the construction, content, and regular updates of NOAH's online platforms, including website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
* Copywriting to create documents, literature, case studies and press releases

* Lead the delivery of the Marketing and Communications Strategy to raise NOAH's profile and reach across Beds, Bucks, & Herts.

* Responsible for development of social media strategy in line with charity goals, including managing content planner and managing social media channels on a day-to-day basis, using social media tools such as Hootsuite
* Liaises with local and national press including creating press releases and arranging radio interviews
* Manages the relationship and co-production with 3rd party marketing agencies
