The Integrations & Imports Team manage a wide range of data sources which feed into our CRM (currently The Raiser’s Edge). We also help to ensure data quality pre- and post-import as well as resolving causes of errors.

About the Role

The Integrations & Imports Team handles large volumes of incoming supporter data which is vital for our fundraising, campaigning, and volunteering activities. Due to internal opportunities, we are seeking a fixed term Senior Imports Officer to work in a very varied role to:

• Help the Team ensure seamless and timely delivery of high-quality data
• Spot and fix data problems
• Help check and clean data
• Maintain existing and develop new imports as required 
• Work with and support colleagues within the Team and in other stakeholder teams across Crisis

About You

To be successful in this role you will love data and enjoy managing data. You will also be:

• Multi-talented, ideally a finely balanced combination of detective, troubleshooter, problem solver, code developer, service deliverer
• Multiskilled with a strong mix of data skills, technical skills and people skills

You will have experience in some of: data management, data quality, data coordinator, data administrator, imports administrator and some of SQL, Excel, Raiser’s Edge, data pipelines, ETL/ELT methodologies

Elders Voice is a local charity serving older people in Brent. We are recruiting a CEO to lead our talented and experienced staff team through a period of change to ensure our financial security.

Elders Voice is an established and trusted charity in the heart of Kensal Green. We believe ageing should be a wonderful and worthwhile journey, but for that to happen older people need to feel safe and happy in their homes and have access to affordable activities in an environment that embraces their differences.

Programme and Projects Manager

We are seeking a Programme and Projects Manager to join a fantastic team at the only environmental charity dedicated to looking after the Aire and its tributaries.

You will join a friendly and committed team of experts passionate about improving the River Aire and the streams that feed it.

This is a full time hybrid-working role, but part-time working will also be considered.

The Role

Working with the Trust Manager, you will help create a sensible balance between the achievable and the ideal and will be the first port of call for the Trust’s talented and dedicated staff, supporting them to deliver a range of projects within budget and on time.

You will be responsible for planning, progressing, and auditing the trust’s work programme, coordinating others' skills, and balancing the Trust’s varied workload.

Travel across the Aire Catchment in Bradford, Craven and Leeds for events, meetings, and remote site visits may be required to support project delivery in this role, so a driver's license and access to your own vehicle are essential. The role may require working outdoors, often in locations with difficult access and sometimes in poor weather conditions.

About You

We are seeking and organised, thorough, calm individual who can keep abreast of all work streams and keep tasks and budgets on track. Your strong financial and leadership skills will support environmental experts in improving the environmental quality, flood risk, and quality of life along the river.

We’re looking for:

• Demonstrable track record of managing a concurrent mix of projects to achieve overlapping and discrete aims.
• Strong financial management skills and the ability to manage multiple budgets to achieve maximum value.
• The ability to communicate effectively with integrity, tact and diplomacy.
• Project management experience including report writing and budget management experience
• Strong track record of problem-solving between conflicting priorities.

Experience working for a small charity is desirable. As is some interest and experience in the environmental sector.

About the role

This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.

The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected. However, on other days the candidate could be based in the London or Colchester office.

Safe Evolve, Early Intervention service is a new service commissioned by the London Borough of Ealing and represent an exciting partnership with the Anna Freud. The programme holds a particular focus on trauma and trauma-informed practice, including a specialist module on working with the impact of trauma, and on trauma-informed practice in education. The programme runs for one year full-time, or two years part-time.

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

About the role

The St Pancras Community Association (SPCA) is a charity delivering high quality services for Camden residents, especially the lively and diverse community of the St Pancras and Somers Town ward. As the Director of SPCA you will lead and guide a highly skilled and motivated team to make the SPCA a community hub and a centre of excellence which has a positive impact on the lives of local residents.

The governance of SPCA is overseen by a Board of Trustees. The Director will report directly to this Board and work closely with Board members.

Key responsibilities

• To build strong relationships with members of the local community, community groups, representatives and service providers to ensure that strategies and services are based on an understanding of the community’s needs and the contribution that SPCA is best placed to make as part of the of the range of local support services.

• To develop and deliver a business plan based on a financially sustainable strategic vision and which maximises the use of existing and emerging funding and income generation sources and opportunities.

• To provide a caring and highly supportive working environment which enables all staff and partners to fully contribute their skills, knowledge and perspectives.

• To manage, plan and monitor budgets to ensure the continuing financial sustainability of the Centre and to work with the Treasurer to ensure that the Centre is operating effective, and compliant accounting practices, policies and procedures.

• To ensure that SPCA fulfils its legal and procedural obligations under relevant legislation.

• To maintain an effective and transparent working relationship with the Board of Trustees to

  ensure that Trustees are kept informed of opportunities, threats and challenges and are fully involved in decision making.

  Main tasks

• Overseeing all fundraising activities from trusts, the local authority, local businesses and the community.

• Overseeing the development and implementation of an income generation strategy that includes maintaining and securing funding from statutory bodies, charitable trusts and any other relevant agencies/organisations and delivering charged services.

• Forming collaborative partnerships with organisations and agencies from all sectors that can be developed into services and business ventures

• Line managing key staff and ensuring that effective line managing processes are in place for other staff and volunteers. The postholder will directly line manage approximately xxx staff.

• Holding monthly staff meetings where everyone is heard and respected

• Ensuring all employees receive appropriate line management, where issues and problems

  that arise are handled with sensitivity and a high priority is given to staff development.

• Overseeing the recruitment and induction of new staff in accordance with the SPCA’s Equal Opportunities.

• Ensuring arrangements are in place for the systematic collection and review of employees opinions and the opinions of service users and potential users

• Ensuring effective systems are in place for monitoring and evaluating project performance.

• Attending meetings of the Board of Trustees as appropriate.

• Keeping the Chair, and other Trustees as appropriate, informed about SPCA’s business

  Person Specification Essential

• Experience of managing an organisation or department at a senior level.

• Experience of delivering services and activities which have had a measurably positive impact

  on communities or specific groups.

• Experience of financial planning and maintaining financial sustainability by activities such as

  securing external funding, securing sponsorship and charging for services.

• Experience of delivering successful marketing and promotional activities.

• Experience of managing an organisation within the voluntary and community sector.

About this job

Please note this is a part-time role 3 days/or 21 hours per week (Fridays must be worked but the other 2 days per week are flexible). The role is initially for an 18 months fixed term contract.

As a key member of our Services and Support team, you’ll be working with MS Society volunteer groups that provide transport services to their members and/or own property. You’ll also be supporting members of the Customer Services team to help them fulfill their health and safety responsibilities within each of the MS Society’s offices. This role includes travel across the UK to provide support and/ or training as required.

You’ll be working with our external auditors to manage the audit process, monitor and record compliance with the ‘MS Society Health and Safety risk management framework’ on property and transport and ensure materials in the framework are consistently and effectively used.

We’re looking for the successful candidate to have:

• A NEBOSH National General Certificate
• Trained Display Screen Assessment Assessor
• Be a Member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health
• Experience of working with in house Health and Safety systems that cover risk areas associated with a volunteer group network.
• Experience of working with volunteers.
• An in-depth up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices, particularly as these relate to the voluntary sector.
• Experience of transport for people of all abilities run by the voluntary sector with a working knowledge of the related legislation.
• A working knowledge of the management of properties run by the voluntary sector.
• A working knowledge of DSE requirements and how to assess and apply them in a practical way.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, inspection and auditing procedures.
