These are newly created administrative roles to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in nearly 1,200 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. The organisation has an important role to Value, Care for and Protect general practice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Primary Care team which supports committee effectiveness and ensures representation within Local Medical Committees within London. The post holder will report to the Director of Primary Care, working across local committees within the Primary Care team.

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to Local Medical Committees, enabling the smooth running of Committee meetings. It would be helpful if candidates have a contextual understanding of the health environment or other public sector environments that we work in, along with excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience of:

• Owning the administrative tasks required to ensure Committee meetings have professional and timely agendas, papers and minutes/action records.
• Attending Committee meetings to support the facilitation of the meetings and ensuring accurate record keeping of meeting content.
• Working flexibly to provide cover across teams and for other Committee Administrators across Londonwide as required.

As an organisation, we work flexibly, and regular home working is supported. The post is contractually based at our offices located in central London near Euston where we host quarterly connect days for all staff. Whilst regular home working is supported, some travel or office attendance may be required to attend preplanned meetings. 

We have two full-time (35 hours per week), permanent posts available, but applicants seeking part-time/job-share roles are welcomed. The salary for the role will be £30,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,800 making total remuneration £34,800). The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.

Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.

Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, social media and other digital marketing platforms. 

Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.

Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
• Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.
• Assist members of the team in responding appropriately to communications from supporters and other organisations.
• Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.
• Assist the Digital Communications Manager and represent SAT-7 UK at conferences and events as required.

Snow Camp is a ground-breaking national youth charity, and we are looking to recruit a fantastic new North West Wellbeing Manager and Programme Support to join our North West team on a 4 day a week contract (30 hrs).

Our accredited programmes are unique and attractive to young people, taking them from beginner to qualified snowsports instructors in just one year with volunteering and apprenticeship progression routes available at the end. Alongside learning to ski or snowboard, young people also have access to wellbeing support with the emphasis on improving young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

You will report to the North West Programme Manager & Head of Snowsports and will be responsible for the delivery of our wellbeing workshops and providing 1to1 wellbeing support sessions to young people. You will also work as part of the North West team to assist with the planning and delivery of snowsports and life-skills focused youth activities run by the Programme Manager and assist with the apprenticeship programme throughout each year.

Experience of working successfully with under-served young people in a range of settings, with a focus on supporting young people’s wellbeing will be essential to the post. Passion for snowsports and supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!

Youth work, wellbeing support experience, project management, logistical skills, managing relationships, communication and presentation skills will make up the role. Along with experience of delivering group workshops to help young people work towards meaningful goals to improve their emotional wellbeing.

Job Description

• You will spend roughly 2.5 days will be in the Wellbeing Manager role and 1.5 days will be in the Programme Support role each week.
• In consultation with the Programme Manager, to manage the delivery of the Wellbeing Workshops and 1to1 mentoring support needed for young people and apprentices.
• Work with the programme manager to gain the young people’s trust and confidence.
• To assist with delivery and development of The North West’s full snowsports focused journey of youth programmes which take place at Chill Factore.
• Build a good relationship with the North West Programme Manager to help provide support and guidance to young people.
• Support with the management of (currently) 3 x North West apprentices on their 1-year Snow Camp Apprenticeship programme. particularly helping to manage their wellbeing and signpost to other services where needed.
• Ensuring the apprentices have clear personal development plans and objectives.
• Provide effective and inspiring leadership to apprentices and young people.
• Providing weekly 1to1 support sessions for each apprentice.
• Having an understanding and an involvement in the development of their weekly working rotas.
• Supporting with NVQ work & assisting with any challenges that may be faced.
• Ensuring apprentices are involved and supported working on all Snow Camp programmes as the North West staff team.
• Complete Personal Development Plans and Wellbeing Assessments as required with apprentices.

• Outside of programme days, provide one-to-one mentoring sessions to young people, in-person or remotely, focusing on their well-being and offering support so they can cope with the Snow Camp programme and improve their general wellbeing.
• Be a key team member on the overseas residential for the Excel programme during the Easter holidays. *Valid passport for travel in Europe & Andorra required.
• Use our UPSHOT online database system to keep records and ensure all monitoring and evaluation is carried out.
• Attend external training as required (e.g. Safeguarding and Mental Health Awareness tutor training courses).
• Ensure that all activities and provision you deliver is done safely and in line with organisational policies.
• Support the Programme Manager to ensure all programmes run smoothly and effectively by supporting the delivery of each programme – managing venue instructors, guest speakers, apprentices, youth staff, sessional staff and volunteers as required.
• Support the Programme Manager with recruiting young people for each programme through visits to youth projects, promotion through email to all relevant youth programmes and services and presenting at key stakeholder meetings on youth service provision. Finding new young people in the North West area to support by Snow-Camp will be key.
• Support the Programme Manager with programme administration including finances, SLAs, attendance records, risk assessments, bookings and young people’s records on Upshot.
• Support with management and delivery of trips and overseas residential’s (Snow-Camp Excel, Apprenticeship & Youth Forum Residential’s) as part of Snow-Camp programmes. Including support with all the necessary risk assessments.
• Additional tasks may vary depending on different opportunities throughout the year.

The North West Wellbeing Manager & Programme Support will report to the North West Programme Manager & Head of Snowsports Morv Bett who will provide support and guidance.

The Trustee board will determine the overall direction of Snow Camp and will set the overall priorities in consultation with the Director and Senior Team.

Role context: Stonewall Housing is currently growing its Development Team, and this Fundraising Officer will play an integral part in maximising Stonewall Housing’s income and raising its profile across the UK (with a particular focus on building relationships and partnerships in Birmingham and the surrounding area). 6. Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
7. Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
8. Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.

· Working knowledge of best practice and the compliance and financial issues around fundraising (Gift Aid, GDPR etc).

Yeldall Manor is a recovery centre, supporting men with addiction problems to heal, transform and thrive. We are a healing community with a holistic approach and Christian foundation. We are situated in the countryside near Reading.

If you have catering skills, certification in food safety and hygiene (or willingness to gain this), and the ability to encourage, motivate and challenge, you could be the person we are looking for to join our friendly staff team. 

As a cook, alongside the existing post-holders, you would take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working together with our residents themselves to provide lunch (up to 50 people) and dinner (up to 25 people). We are looking for someone who can work approximately one in two weekends and occasional weekdays. No evenings.

The Role

We are looking for a coordinator to carry out the delivery of our Vocational Qualifications and Funded Modern Apprenticeship Programmes.

The role includes course and funding administration, communication with students and teaching staff, registration with external bodies, and maintenance of student records.

This post requires essential knowledge of IT with a clear understanding of data input and good data management principles, attention to detail and the ability to follow strict timelines in accordance with our funders, as well as adhering to contract requirements. You must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft office packages, be keen to learn various administrative procedures and to use database systems, both internal and external. We also require good communication and organisational skills.

We continuously recruit students for our various programmes throughout the year, so the successful candidate will have a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise. We are a small organisation so the ability to work independently and to self-motivate is essential, as well as being a supportive member of a small admin team.

The CO will work with the whole community of Thames View and Barking Riverside wards (and across the wider borough of Barking & Dagenham) to transform the area via environmental action, into a place that people are proud of, where they can see a positive and exciting future and feel able to influence and shape the wider changes that are taking place due to development / regeneration.

On a day-to-day basis, the CO will have the overall responsibility for delivering environmental action, including litter picks, supporting volunteers, ensuring that activities are delivered on time and within budget and that targets are met. S/he will have experience of working in communities under pressure, be committed to a community-led approach and be capable of establishing and running environmental sessions, including litter picks and chairing of community meetings.  S/he will have the  skills and personal qualities to build strong, trusting relationships, and the confidence and maturity to encourage and support others to take a lead.

 Key responsibilities:

· Organizing litter picks with residents and local groups

· Liaising with strategic partners (LBBD, NHS, BRL, Be First etc).

· Publicising activity on social media

· Producing short 100-word reports for newsletters

· Attending team meetings

· Supporting volunteers.

· Chairing community meetings.

· Completing 1-2 small grant applications

· Financial oversight of budget and monitoring requirements

· Development of forward strategies to support environmental action

· Attend training as appropriate.

· Ensure compliance with Thames Life strategies – safeguarding, health and safety, EDI etc.

· Any other duties as required.
