We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in East Sussex who support Young Carers, aged 5-18 years, who have caring responsibilities for someone in their family due to disability, long-term illness, mental health, or drug or alcohol misuse.
You will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments, and providing short-term interventions that support Young Carers to improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing. We are seeking a Grants Administrator (not a fundraiser) who will set up and run the project for us.

The headquarters of the Charity are in Salford (St. James House, Pendleton Way). What you’ll do
As International Partnerships Lead for the Middle East and Africa, your role is to provide world class customer service and support to over 250 international schools from around the world. You will build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools, supporting them to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful.
You will cover the region of the Middle East and Africa, with international travel typically required twice a year for school visits and conferences.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Being the first point of contact for our international partner schools in the region.

Responding to queries and troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

Onboarding new schools that join us. You will make sure that they are properly set up on our platform and have a strong plan in place so that they and their students can get the most out of Unifrog.

Job purpose
The Science Manager – Super Pollutants will manage technical elements of multi-lateral partnerships and coalitions, oversee a portfolio of research grants and projects, and strategically generate and communicate data and evidence to drive funders, governments and non-profits to work effectively towards reducing black carbon emissions globally.
Scope of role
The post holder will oversee work to reduce scientific uncertainties and bottlenecks around black carbon and other super pollutants to support policy goals and ultimately accelerate emissions reductions.
This position will
Develop a strategy and manage the implementations for research projects;
Bring together the science community and generate shared goals;
Lead on technical elements of the organisation’s work with intergovernmental organisations, governments and non-profits.
Be responsible for outreach and engagement with academic institutions, multilateral agencies, and other stakeholders.
It’s a hugely influential role and will span climate change, air pollution and public health fields.
As you would expect it will require a deep understanding of the latest science and a strategic approach to how science can advance international policy matters on black carbon and other super pollutants.

We are seeking an experienced Events & Partnerships Manager, to play an integral role within a dynamic fundraising team. Responsible for developing our events portfolio, community fundraising as well as expanding and developing our corporate and donor opportunities. Role Purpose

About the role:
We are recruiting a number of Triage and Early Intervention Officers. You will be supporting people on the telephone, by text or email from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience. Previous experience is not required as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients. You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.
These roles are based in our Essex office in Ingatestone. There may be an option to split the work between home and the office. You will be working within a supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development.
