About the role
The role sits in the Partnerships and Philanthropy team (PPT) within the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement (FSE) directorate of Christian Aid. The role will be line managed by the Prospect Research Manager, will work closely with all PPT income teams particularly supporting the sub-streams of SALT, Middle Value and small and medium Trusts and Foundations. It will also work in an integrated way with the Community Fundraising & Public Engagement team and the Marketing & Fundraising team of the FSE. THE ORGANISATION
The Fund for Global Human Rights (the Fund) is a leading supporter of locally rooted human rights groups around the world. Dedicated to finding and funding the most effective human rights organisations, the Fund offers grants and facilitates technical support to ensure the long-term effectiveness and viability of frontline groups working in challenging conditions with scant resources.
Since 2002, the Fund has awarded more than $95 million to nearly 650 human rights organisations across the globe. Grantees work on a wide range of issues from indigenous land rights in Guatemala, to women’s rights in Morocco, to discrimination against HIV positive people in India. The Fund currently maintains programmes in five regions.
Based in London, the Fund’s European Office leads its work in Europe and seeks to raise the profile of the organization and its grantees in front of key audiences across the continent. The Office is expanding with a dynamic staff of ten working across a range of departments – communications, development, program, and operations.
THE POSITION
The Grants Management team sits within the Fund’s Operations department and is primarily focused on ensuring that resources are reaching frontline activist organisations. The team seeks an Arabic-speaking Grants Officer who will report to the Manager of Grantmaking Operations and manage the Fund’s programmes in the Middle East & North Africa. Essential Duties of the Position
Grants Management
- Manage the Fund’s Middle East & North Africa grant
- Manage incoming grant proposals and evaluate eligibility of prospective grantees

- Track reporting deadlines and communicate with grantees to ensure that they are met

Absolute Support Leading Light (ASLL) aspires to provide support within independent living settings for adults with learning disabilities or a mental health condition. We currently support 13 adults with learning disabilities who live in three shared houses in the London Borough of Richmond. We also provide support to adults living in their own homes within the community.

ASLL is seeking a new CEO who will be responsible for ensuring that the charity continues to achieve its primary objective of providing the people in its care with the opportunity to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador for the charity and an advocate for the client group through building strong relationships with key stakeholders including but not limited to, clients, parents, trustees, local authority partners and the CQC.
- Responsible, along with the board of trustees, for the development of the charity s strategy, determining overall direction and developing plans which ensure that the charity s objectives are operationalised.
- Lead, manage and motivate employees to ensure they deliver high quality and supportive care and development for the charity s clients.
- Measure and monitor performance against CQC standards to ensure client provision meets acceptable quality standards.
As well as a passion for the work of Absolute Support, the successful candidate will have experience of:
- Proven experience as CEO or senior manager in the social care sector.
- Experience of financial management and control, including budget setting and reviews.
- Proven experience in developing strategic plans in the care and charitable sector.
- Understanding of the Social Model of Disability and the Medical Model of Disability and their appropriate application.
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities/mental health conditions is preferred

Recruiting an Estates Officer to join our Housing team in Westminster!
£24,500 per annum, 35 hours per week, plus 25 days Annual Leave, Pension schemes, Staff discounts, healthcare and more.
Each year, Look Ahead collects c£21m of rent and service charge from the c3,000 units of property that we own and manage. This amount represents roughly a third of Look Ahead's annual income and therefore it is essential for us to maximise our income collection and estate management. This is a varied opportunity that will see you managing a range of situations including complex cases of ASB (anti-social behaviour), this may include attending evictions, liaising with tenancy enforcement agencies, gathering relevant information to support any action taken. You will regularly carry out inspections within your patch to ensure that the buildings are a safe environment for our customers and that they meet any legislative requirement. You will ensure empty homes are re-let as quickly as possible and support new tenants once they move into their homes to sustain their tenancies. You will be the operational lead for all Welfare visits and sign post residents to support agencies where necessary. The role entails a majority of the time spent visiting our estates, properties and customers and it would be expected that at least 80% of the work will be carried out on-site conducting these visits.

Job Description Summary
The Development and Funding Officer plays a key role at DPI, working to ensure that income meets the organisation’s needs, and in support of achieving the strategic objectives through the development and management of fundraising and donor relations.
The Development and Funding Officer is responsible for identifying and pursuing diverse funding streams; writing applications, reporting back and progress letters to meet existing and future funders’ guidelines; monitoring the implementation of projects to ensure funders’ guidelines are met; and liaising with funders and other stakeholders. The Development and Funding Officer works closely with the Finance Officer to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to donors.
The Development and Funding Officer collaborates with Project Officers with regards to expenditure across budget lines to ensure compliance with grant contracts and grants periods. The Development and Funding Officer assists the Finance Manager with audit preparations of accounts at the end of the financial year and ensures the timely drafting of the Trustee report.
The Development and Funding Officer works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager and the Chief Operating Officer in the preparation and presentation of the annual organisational budget.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising and Grants Management
- Leads the development and delivery of short, medium and long-term fundraising strategies for DPI
- Identifies and nurtures the successful implementation of appropriate grant funding and contracting

The Marketing Officer – Brand, will support the Brand Marketing Manager on ensuring the quality, consistency and strategic development of our brand. This role will be responsible for maintaining and co-ordinating the marketing resource systems and respond to user enquiries, supplier correspondence, monitor creation of new assets, provide performance and stock reports, and billing/transactions reports from the respective systems.
