As CFG's Policy Officer you will make an impactful contribution to CFG's policy and advocacy work. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including policy-makers, charity members and corporate partners, you will contribute to the smooth running of the Policy Team's work and effectiveness. You will be comfortable using your research and analytical skills to ensure CFG remains at the forefront of its advocacy work on behalf of its members and the wider sector. Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.
· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective partners from across companies, trusts and foundations.

We are looking for a new full time, 17-month fixed term Funding Officer to join the passionate, vibrant and friendly team in the North West Region to be part of ensuring our funding supports a wide variety of communities and places locally. The role will cover Greater Manchester, with occasional work in other parts of the North West.
The team is based remotely across the North West of England and this role is to support delivery in Greater Manchester. Ideally the successful candidate will live in Greater Manchester and will be part of the local team, led by a Funding Manager, and comprised of several other Funding Officers.
As a member of the funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities and Partnerships programmes. About the role
As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects.
