We already receive funding from various sources but we know there are even more mums, parents and families out there who need our support; support that needs funding.

We are a Scottish registered charity making a difference to women and families across the UK. Our vision is that women and families feel supported in their feeding choices and are able to breastfeed for as long as they choose.

UKCF are the membership organisation for 47 UK community foundations; the only national network of charitable funders with a physical presence in every part of the UK and the UK’s 4th largest funder.
We are currently using a shared legacy system built with Salesforce Classic though will be implementing and supporting 38 individual Salesforce instances from June 2024 for each Community Foundation. Each individual instance will be based on a network agreed Salesforce design, with the ability for foundations to bespoke their system to fit their individual needs if required.
This role of Systems Administrator reports into the Network Digital Transformation Lead and will initially cover our existing legacy system and be an integral part of the implementation, data migration and ongoing development and support of the new system and structure.

Supporter Acquisition Manager

Our supporters are the lifeblood of the Charity, most being current or former civil servants themselves and we are thankful for their support. Working alongside colleagues across the Charity, Civil Service and payroll fundraising agencies, the Supporter Acquisition Manager will play a key role in developing a multi-channel acquisition strategy, driving growth in new supporters and income. You will be innovating and delivering products and campaigns that inspire our audiences, ensuring that we raise the funds needed to continue our important work.
To be successful in this role, you will be proactive, results-driven and committed to providing an excellent supporter experience. You will have extensive direct marketing and product development fundraising experience, strong budget and management experience and be adept at delivering audience-led strategy across acquisition. Great communication skills and experience of leveraging digital solutions as well as multi-channel marketing will be essential.
This is an exciting time to join the Charity as we seek to embed our presence as a UK-wide charity and deliver sustainable income and supporter growth. Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving & Legacy, you will be part of an exciting department responsible for growing our largest and longest-term sources of income – our regular giving propositions (including payroll giving and lottery) and legacy fundraising. Regular Giving and donations from individuals are an essential part of our fundraising strategy, constituting over 80% of our income currently. Your Role
As our Assistant Director of Supporter Engagement, you'll be an integral part of our External Engagement team, reporting to our Executive Director. Your days will be filled with strategic challenges and opportunities as you lead and manage our supporter engagement activities. From developing fundraising strategies, to overseeing our diverse portfolio of fundraising products, your leadership will drive sustainable growth in voluntary income and support.
You’ll inspire and nurture a talented team including Individual Giving, Legacies & Supporter Care, Community & Events and Income Data and CRM. We are a passionate and supportive team, with a team culture that we're proud of, and together we are transforming supporter engagement at Samaritans.
