The Programme Manager will deliver a personal development journey to young people using snowsports as the hook to engage those who are less likely to engage with mainstream provision. We do this in partnership with youth projects and youth service providers across the Midlands.
This is a really exciting opportunity to play a key role in Snow Camp’s development in the Midlands. Experience of working successfully with underserved young people in a range of settings will be essential to the post. Furthermore, experience within a snowsports field and passion for supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Project management, logistical skills, relationship management, communication and presentation skills will all make up the job. Along with youth work experience to deliver life-skills or group workshops to motivate young people to work towards meaningful goals – these will all make up the job.
This is a key post requiring at least 2 years’ experience involving the above skills, together with proven project management and budgeting experience.

We are currently recruiting for a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach's. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of excellent fundraising results and fundraising compliance standards and specifically the delivery of performance improvements in our F2F fundraisers through coaching, training, and continuous development. The role will also involve direct fundraising where you will be expected to meet a personal target.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for coaching the performance of multiple teams in the region that will consist of lone workers, pairs of fundraisers to bigger teams as the income plan increases.
- Responsible for an individual fundraising target and set of KPI’s that include inspiring people to become long-term monthly donors, generating income through contactless one-off donations and acquiring newsletter prospecting sign ups in a range of locations including residential door-to-door, town and city centres, private venues, and events and more commonly on our private land, the canal and river Towpaths.
- Acting as a hands-on fundraiser who leads by example, delivering fundraising income through signing up Friends and generating contactless income whilst demonstrating the Canal & River Trust ‘s values and behaviours.
- Generating income and being present on-site to visit fundraising teams, fundraise with them, cover sickness absence, coach performance, provide training & development of fundraisers, reinforce our culture of health & safety, embed compliance standards.
- Provide phone coaching and in-person coaching of fundraisers to support meeting their targets and KPI’s and in individual cases working with fundraisers to improve their results from their current level of performance to the required standard by equipping them with the technical and psychological training to work to their very best.
- Identify training requirements and deliver on and off field training and coaching to grow income.

- Process all sensitive and data protected information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner in line with the Trust’s GDPR and Security Procedures.
- Carrying out Daily Compliance training, Charity conversation, case for support and storytelling practice and Health and Safety training sessions as per directed by the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager.
- Manages feedback and complaints in a professional manner and follows the complaints process and communicates details to Regional F2F Fundraising Manager so it can be addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Father Hudson’s Care (FHC) is the social care agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham. We require an experienced senior manager to lead our Community Projects Department. As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Introduction to the role
This role will ensure that we are developing partnerships and applying for new funding in line with our business objective and values. We need to ensure that we are maximising our future income potential for new business as well as securing income to continue existing business. This role will work closely with the CEO and other business development colleagues to ensure that TAWS optimises opportunities nationally and regionally as well as across the breadth of the current and future delivery range. Main duties
- Undertake horizon scanning with the leads of the business development areas to ensure we understand key opportunities and are embedded in key partnerships at a national and local level.
- Work with colleagues on a joined up business development approach to secure new business and contracts
- Increase the number, range, and value of contracts secured in line with our strategic objectives
- Build and maintain a range of relevant partnerships to support the winning of new business
- Maintain up to date market and academic research available on the CRM and other systems within the team
- Develop and conduct effective business pitches to key decision makers and ensure that they are kept relevant by relevant reviews and updates
- Manage the bid writing team, oversee and strengthen our current funding operations
- Build on the existing portfolio of funding, which includes statutory and commercial tenders, as well as grant funding
