We are looking for a Philanthropy Officer to join our fantastic Philanthropy and Partnerships team on a permanent basis. The P&P team consists of six members of staff, and together we want to raise £2.6m this year. This role is all about great relationship management and organisational skills to ensure that supporters of Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK) feel valued and inspired.
We’re a small and ambitious team that works closely together to maximise our collective impact. As Philanthropy Officer, the post-holder will support and engage high-value supporters and deliver stewardship at the highest level. The role is varied and requires a proactive, resourceful individual with a love of relationship management and the ability to work across the donor journey.
Some of the main responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing a portfolio of high-value supporters and prospects, providing an outstanding supporter experience, and maximising the impact of their support
- Working with members of our Development Fund Board to maximise their income potential individually and through their networks
Supporting the Director of Fundraising, Head of P&P, and Senior Relationship Manager in the management of DFB member relationships and their networks as appropriate (ensuring the provision of briefings, preparation of compelling proposals, and reports).
- Supporting the Senior Special Events Manager with key fundraising events in the calendar that deliver a strong net income

The Legacy and Supporter Relationship Fundraising Officer is a new position at the charity. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this role will be one of the first points of contact for supporters be it via phone, email or face-to-face. MOVE Europe’s (registered name The Move Partnership) vision is for every disabled young person to have choice and opportunities by learning independent movement. Our mission is to enable disabled young people to gain independent mobility through the use of the MOVE Programme, a 6-step programme used collaboratively in all aspects of an individual’s life, throughout their whole day, by all of the people that work and live with them. The MOVE ethos is centred around a ‘can-do’ approach, where everyone around the individual dares to dream and works on ambitious goals set by the child and their family. Join us at MOVE Europe in our 25th year of enabling disabled young people to learn independence through movement, as our Senior Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser. Reporting to the Director of MOVE Europe, and joining a small, agile, and highly effective team, the owner of this role will play a pivotal part in the organisation’s growth ambitions.
The main purpose of the role is to develop and lead the organisation’s trust and statutory fundraising, working to grow a portfolio of new funders of various sizes (4 – 5 figures) and, through effective communication and stewardship, secure income for the organisation, as part of our 3-year strategy. What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for someone to work at least 21 hours a week. The full-time role is 35 hours / week. The post is fully home-based and provides a career opportunity with a dedicated small, but growing, team. About The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation
The Healthcare Workers’ Foundation was set up in March 2020 by a group of NHS staff in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We exist to support the welfare and wellbeing of those fighting to keep us healthy and safe during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
The charity currently consists of six staff and is a 100% remote and flexible working organisation. In 18 months we have raised £1.3m in funds and over £3m including gifts-in-kind.
We currently offer the following services to healthcare workers:
·Bereaved healthcare worker family support and scholarships
·Retail discount collation and aggregation
·Hospital staff room refurbishments
and are expanding the services we can offer healthcare workers, in response to their feedback.
