What you will be doing
- Project delivery: Getting involved in project delivery, such as foundational research for project development and delivering workshops.
- Project management: Overseeing the effective delivery of projects, including reporting, and supporting the planning and set up of new projects as they come online.
- Innovation and Development: Supporting us to improve and expand our projects and programmes. You will also assist in identifying new projects or funding opportunities and contribute to the preparation of funding proposals. This may involve exploring options for the governance structure of this area of work.
- Marketing and communications: Promoting our projects, developing our external communications and acting as an ambassador for our community work.
- Monitoring and evaluation: We are on a journey to better capture the impact of specific projects, and the impact that our community work has collectively. You will take an active role in supporting this element of our work.
- Partnership working: Collaboration is key to our approach. You will liaise with existing clients and partners for project delivery, develop new partnerships to further our aims and also take part in key networking and external events.
- Team development: You will work closely with the Community Impact Lead to contribute to the development of the team, during our team meetings and away days. You will be comfortable managing staff, teams and subcontractors to deliver desired outcomes.
- Day-to-day operations: Working closely with the Community Impact Lead, HR and Finance, to support our remote project teams, problem solve issues as they arise, develop our internal systems and processes, maximise efficiencies and drive improvements.

We’ve grown a lot over the last 15 years and our weekly community meals now run in more than 85 towns and cities across England and Wales. This role is vitally important in supporting our growth - we have plans to reach 100 Community Meal Projects by the end of this year as well as launching new initiatives that will help us support more families and children.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider marketing team to develop campaigns and plans that will get as many people as possible talking about FoodCycle’s work, enhance our visibility and become the leaders in delivering and promoting community dining.
You will have experience working within media or PR, with a track record of securing high quality media coverage. You will have knowledge of the media landscape, and the ability to craft a press release, pitch a story, work with case studies, and write blog posts.

The NI is looking for its next Events Officer to oversee the setting up and online booking of a range of events – mainly conferences and dinners – as well as overseeing the subscriptions to its Journal. The role is a busy one and the person recruited with require good experience with events booking CRMs as well as working with volunteers and other team members in a small team.
Responsibilities
Main duties include:
Manage all event bookings administration, including:
o Set up of online booking for events through CRM
o Set up and maintain webpages for each event through CMS adding sponsor logos and additional information as required.
o Ensuring invoices for events are issued and paid, updating any on CRM that were issued manually including sponsorship events
o Ensuring relevant communications such as joining instructions are circulated to attendees
o Issue sponsorship contracts, invoices and monitor payments of same

About the role
You’ll co-develop and implement an inclusive bilingual media and communications programme across traditional, digital and social media and maximise our messaging and campaigning impact in Wales through powerful communications.
You’ll build a sustainable team of proactive volunteers affected by Parkinson’s to energise our communications through their personal stories and participation in communications work.

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Purpose of the Senior Media Relations Officer role:
As Senior Media Relations Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in all proactive and reactive media, working closely with the Communications Manager and the Head of Media, Brand and Relationships. This role is intrinsic to the running of Women’s Aid’s fast-paced press office, influencing, responding to and driving the media agenda on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls. The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) is a charity that represents the voice of people living with dyslexia. We aim to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.
This is an exciting new role for the BDA, which has been created with the purpose of recruiting, managing and supporting regional volunteers, leading specific outreach to groups impacted and disadvantaged by dyslexia and resulting life circumstances. The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters.
