Job description

We're recruiting an enthusiastic fundraiser and communicator to join our small and dynamic fundraising team at Jamie's Farm. Be part of a growing national charity which is transforming the lives of vulnerable young people at risk of social and academic exclusion.

The aim of the role is to help boost our income from trusts and foundations, manage a range of responsibilities in relation to individual fundraising, and groups and associations, and oversee our fundraising comms and marketing alongside our Head of Comms.

Ideally based at our HQ at Jamie’s Farm Bath (Wiltshire), but would also consider our Lewes (East Sussex) farm.

Main Responsibilities: 

Fundraising Comms and Marketing

• Maintaining regular updates of the website from a fundraising perspective; • Supporting with creating comms & marketing materials for fundraising team, including overseeing donor journey calendar and producing the material; • Overseeing social media channels for fundraising - timely, regularly and appropriate content and sharing • Overseeing legacy comms and messaging • Overseeing the comms behind the Big Give campaigns.


• Account managing a number of relationships with lower-level trusts and foundations (less than £10k) including undertaking the appropriate M&E, putting together applications, meeting and showing Trustees around the farm, managing communications; • Monitoring, thanking donors, and uploading donations onto our fundraising database for the finance team, in relation to all income from fundraising platforms • Updating the fundraising database and relevant spreadsheets with new gifts, new accounts and gift aid forms, communications sent to supporters and event management. • Sending thank yous, receipts and acknowledgements to individual donors, collecting Gift Aid forms where appropriate; • Managing individual relationships (less than £5k) and monthly donors; • Leading on the planning and delivery of a couple of events throughout the year. • Managing some corporate partners in the SE and involving them in JF events; • Looking after correspondence with some fundraisers/participants taking on their own fundraising events and providing good follow-up and donor care; • Researching, applying and account managing fundraising from Groups and Associations in the SE.
