The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the Content Team within the Marketing & Communications Department, overseeing delivery of the content framework, using evaluation and measurement to enable strategic and creative development so Battersea’s content output achieves brand, marketing and organisational objectives.
Overall objectives of this role:
• Oversee strategic delivery against the content framework, supporting the team in effective implementation and measurement
• Lead the team in developing and delivering best in class creative storytelling content that is strategically aligned, maximised, and continually evaluated.
• Work with stakeholders across the organisation to effectively prioritise and shape briefs coming into the team.
• Work collaboratively across the Marketing & Communications department and other departments and support the team in doing the same including via supporting working structures and tools.

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.
The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will join our existing communications team and support our communications and engagement. This role will lead on providing senior technical advice, leadership and guidance to the planning, delivery and monitoring of communications activities across the organisation. This includes supporting on elements of our communication activities; newsletter creation, website maintenance, graphic design and social media.

A key part of the role will involve exploring and implementing a data visualisation tool to efficiently monitor and review the reach and effectiveness of Action Hampshire’s communications (including social media platforms, newsletter, website hits and publication downloads, event attendance).

Key tasks include:

You will:
- Demonstrate a strong track record of developing brand and market positioning, using analytical tools to ensure effective communications, acting as brand gatekeeper, coordinating consistent communication of key messages, and tasks.
- Have experience of managing websites, email marketing and social media platforms with experience of managing and maintaining CRM systems (HubSpot), ensuring, and adhering to GDPR requirements and providing regular updates and reporting as required.
- Be able to plan, coordinate and manage an annual programme of events, including the effective delivery of the annual conference, building relations with sponsors to ensure its financial viability.
- Have strong communication and PR skills, with experience of handling public relations and press campaigns, with the confidence and competency to deputise for the Chief Executive when required.
- Have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others to grow professionally and provide consistent and high-quality communications.
Experience of Membership organisations, sponsorship and event management are desirable but not essential.

Working arrangements

Harington is an Ofsted registered specialist college based in North London rated good, working with around 52 young people with learning differences aged 16-25. We specialise in horticulture, retail and general employability. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes and supported internships that lead to vocational qualifications and achieving other aims. Our charity has two learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey.
