What will you be doing?
The Content Officer will be responsible for gathering assets and content from across Plantlife’s work areas to highlight and deliver our mission to secure a world rich in plants and fungi.
This is a collaborative and interesting role researching and creating content across multiple channels including videos and social media. You will be responsible for creating and writing blogs and developing engaging stories that captivate, deepen relationships and inevitably grow our audiences. We have some amazing stories to tell, and you will play a significant role in shaping them.
You will also be managing the day-to-day content on our website, telling our rich brand story, collating captivating newsletters, and be involved in various operational content projects supporting the wider communications team.

You will be a highly organised and collaborative team player who is experienced in delivering high-quality content for multiple channels. The role involves forming strong relationships with colleagues across Plantlife to encourage a wide range of content that drives engagement with Plantlife’s work. You will enjoy helping the team across a range of communications, engagement and fundraising disciplines and strengthening our networks and partnerships.Ideally, you will have a passion for the environment and be proactive in developing content to enable the best outcomes for nature.

POSITION SUMMARY
The main purpose of this role is to provide day to day support to the management of CARE International’s global platforms (website and social media), monitor performance and support effective and timely communications planning globally. This is an exciting entry level position for those passionate about digital communications and engagement, and its intersection with social justice.
Main Responsibilities: - Key areas of responsibility but not limited to:
Support to Global Digital Platform Management (70%)
· Support the day-to-day management of CARE International Secretariat’s digital platforms including website and social media.
· Producing copy and graphics according to the guidelines agreed with Global Content Manager.
· Editing and uploading content to the CARE International website according to the digital strategy and guidelines set by the Global Content Manager.
· Act as the focal point for contact with the website development agency, overseeing technical upgrades and developments
· Support communications planning including management of a global external calendar with relevant dates and events to guide digital content creation.
· Support the management of social media dashboards and the elaboration of performance analysis with a view to improving outreach and optimizing content.
· Support the knowledge management of relevant materials for the digital content team.
· Actively seek out new trends and opportunities in the digital space.
· Support the Global Content Manager in other activities as required.
Support to Global Communications Working Group Coordination (20%)
· Support the Global Content Manager in implementing global communities of practice and content support.
· Manage internal engagement plan and calendar for communications team, ensuring timely coordination moments, sourcing translations, and setting up technical requirements
Support to Advocacy and Communications Department (10%)
· Work with the Knowledge Management and Learning officer in support of strong internal communications, in alignment with the wider CI Secretariat, using the latest digital technologies to support confederation engagement with the work of the CI Secretariat.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required
· 1-2 years of experience in website and social media management
· Solid understanding of communications principles and approaches and excellent communication skills
· Experience working with a Content Management System, with an understanding of SEO principles. Knowledge of Drupal a distinct advantage.
· Competent in the use of Canva or similar platforms for social media content production. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, video-editing software, and graphic design skills a distinct advantage.
· Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of French, Spanish or Arabic a distinct advantage.

Blue Marine Foundation is seeking an experienced and reliable Communications Officer to join the busy communications and outreach department of an ambitious and dynamic ocean conservation charity whose mission is to restore the ocean to health. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact in leading communications for the Solent Seascape Project : a five-year, multi-million-pound conservation project delivered by a partnership of ten organisations. The project aims to reconnect the Solent into a functioning seascape by improving the condition, extent, and connectivity of key marine and coastal habitats using protection and restoration initiatives. The role requires someone who can input and deliver the projects communications strategy, with a view to significantly increasing engagement and reach of the project.

Main purpose and scope of the role:
Parentkind is a national charity and we work across all four nations of the United Kingdom and the devolved institutions and governments.
The successful candidate would be expected to support our work in Northern Ireland and have demonstrable experience of the political system in Northern Ireland.
In addition to their work in Northern Ireland the successful candidate will support the wider aims of the Policy and Research Department across the UK.
We are the voice of parents in education, we represent 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and have an ambition to develop an internal parent ‘think tank’ within the organisation.
This is an exciting role if you have a passion for politics, a background in policy research and interested in education policy and politics.
The role will involve conducting research on education policy and making policy recommendations based on that research. Some research will be time sensitive and involve summarising information and presenting it in an easy to understand way. There will be longer research projects to support the charity to develop policy positions and maintain our position as a strong voice for parents in education.
Alongside the research requirements of the role, you will be expected to support our political and broader stakeholder engagement activity to make sure the work we do is understood and seen by the right people.
You will have experience of working with political stakeholders in Northern Ireland and a strong understanding of the political structures and processes in Northern Ireland, as well as experience in political engagement to promote research and policy recommendations.

Policy research and analysis
- To conduct research on education policy in Northern Ireland under the guidance of the Director of Policy and Research.

- debates and questions in the Northern Ireland Assembly
- future business across in the Northern Ireland Assembly,
