Beyond the Streets is a small charity with a big determination to see routes out for women selling sex in the UK. We are currently looking to recruit a Research and Impact Officer. This is a crucial role in supporting the monitoring and evaluation of our work as an organisation and in contributing to the design and delivery of innovative research which builds the case for tackling sexual exploitation in the UK. Working closely with the Research and Impact Manager, this role ensures that the work of Beyond the Streets is informed by learning from lived experience, practitioner experience and academic research; producing a variety of research outputs that inform service development, training content, and policy proposal development.
You will be a champion of the cause and have a passion for supporting women who face multiple disadvantages and be familiar with a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) perspective. You will have experience in conducting research in the humanities or social sciences. You will have great interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. We are looking for someone with energy, motivation, skills, and experience; someone who can understand the big picture and can deliver to deadlines.

The Corporate Partnerships Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Fundraising and Communications directorate and is responsible for managing, stewarding, renewing, and growing our corporate partners to meet our fundraising income targets. Our partners range from complex programmatic-focused partners to employee engagement-driven partners and reflect a combination of financial support, skills-based support, and volunteering. The role is varied and requires strong time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship management, and a deep understanding of industry standards, best practices, and trends. You will be required to engage and influence a wide range of partner stakeholders plus collaborate across our Fundraising and Communication Directorate, Delivery Directorate, and Finance teams to meet the needs of our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of our corporate partners, developing and delivering partnership strategies and stewardship plans for each account to deliver against the objectives and meet income targets.
· Work closely with the New Business Senior Manager to ensure the collaborative transition of new partners into account management, liaise with the Volunteering and Events Manager to deliver volunteering opportunities to partners, and the Fundraising Officer to promote challenge events to our partners.
· Support the CEO on the development and management of stewardship for select trustees and senior partner contacts.
· Accurately forecast and manage expenditures for our partners, creating mitigation plans when necessary
· Contribute to the organisation and team’s annual plans, strategies, and budgets.
· Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce database, financial accounting, account management plans, contracts, and due diligence.

About the role
Title: Housing Access Officer - known internally as Housing Procurement Officer
Location: London; Up to two days working from home may be considered in line with Crisis’ hybrid policy
You’ll join our London Wide Services at an exciting time, helping to deliver an outstanding pan London property access service across the private and social rented sector and contributing to the delivery of Housing First. Working alongside a variety of services across the organisation, you will identify housing opportunities, negotiate new partnerships, nurture existing relationships, and strive to establish routes into sustainable housing for people who have experienced homelessness by working with Landlords across London.
It’s a role requiring a creative approach and strong negotiation skills as you partner with both Landlords and Crisis’ Client Services. You will be responsible for bringing two sectors together and ensuring the interest of everyone involved are looked after, supporting the creation of tenancies that end people’s homelessness. The role is pan London, and you will work collaboratively with our 3 London services to ensure tenants receive the support they need to sustain their homes. Crisis is also in the process of establishing a brand new lettings agency, in partnership with Homes for Good – Scotland’s award winning social enterprise letting agency. The new lettings agency will launch in early 2024 and we envisage the housing access roles working closely with the new business.
About you
Understanding of housing law is essential along with the ability to develop, build and maintain key relationships.
Crisis are looking for a talented, motivated individual to join the Housing Access Team in London who wants to use their skills and experience working with landlords in the private sector, accessing accommodation to help end homelessness for the people we support.
With in-depth knowledge of the housing market in London, its unique challenges and opportunities and possessing excellent interpersonal skills which will support them to negotiate with landlords and access good quality affordable accommodation for our members. Thorough understanding of landlord’s legal responsibilities is essential coupled with insight into the needs of people experiencing homelessness and the challenges and stigma they face accessing good quality affordable accommodation.
A good understanding of the benefits system and how it relates to housing is key along with an ability to work alongside colleagues directly supporting people experiencing homelessness to ensure they are supported into sustainable tenancies so their homelessness is ended for good.

Rainbow Migration, the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system, is recruiting a Legal Officer to advise and help improve the representation of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum, and help change the asylum and immigration system to one that treats everyone with compassion, dignity and respect.
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with valid practising certificate, or already accredited to Level 3 OISC, with two years’ experience in providing advice and representation in asylum including working in legal aid.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the legal advice service. Under the guidance of our Legal Service Manager, you will also build capacity amongst legal representatives by designing and delivering training, giving second tier advice and developing and coordinating a network of practitioners working in this area. You will use the knowledge you gain in this role to help deliver Rainbow Migration’s policy work, such as inputting into policy papers and meeting with partner organisations when required.
We will also consider applications from people who do not want to do the policy elements of the job, but to instead focus on first and second tier advice. Please mention in your covering letter if you are applying for this option.
This is a unique opportunity to build on your experience as a lawyer or caseworker to improve representation across the sector and create change in government policy and practice. You will be supported to develop as a specialist lawyer and in your policy skills.
Responsibilities will include:
· Deliver one-off advice to adult LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and work with colleagues to refer them to quality legal aid and pro bono lawyers
· Provide casework assistance e.g. helping to prepare witness statements, making referrals to other specialist organisations and taking other urgent steps (whilst not representing service users or maintaining a caseload)
· Provide occasional advice (within competence) on other issues affecting asylum and partnership service users such as asylum support, legal aid, trafficking, family reunion or community care
· Deliver second tier advice to the legal representatives of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and other charities and professionals
· Work with the Legal Manager to design and deliver training to lawyers, NGOs and other professionals
· Write blogs and articles on asylum and immigration policy and legislation as they apply to LGBTQI+ people
· Contribute to policy and briefing papers
The Legal Officer will not be providing direct legal representation of service users. However, the role includes substantive advice and casework within the scope of legal support and referrals for our service users, as well as merits testing and second tier advice.

Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.
Salary: Starting at £40,175 with effect from 1 April 2024, with potential annual step increases up to £44,868 (pro-rata for part-time employees), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.
Location: Rainbow Migration’s offices are based in Borough, central London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager and Executive Director. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. There might also be occasional travel outside London with plenty of notice. At the time of posting this advert, none of our staff are going into the office every day. • Review budgets for concepts/proposals, ensuring the inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, make recommendations for improvements and liaise with the programme/partnerships team and field units to ensure these are complete, accurate, consistent with the narrative, compliant with donor requirements, and correctly formatted for presentation to donors
• Support the preparation, review and submission process for donor financial (and narrative as relevant, e.g. ECHO) reports to ensure compliance with donor requirements; ensure reports are produced on time to a high standard and are consistent with the narrative
• Ensure timely submission of cash requests as required by donor contracts and internal sub-grant agreements
• Prepare donor and internal sub-grant agreements with AKDN agencies, field units, and implementing partners, including (but not limited to) those with co-financing
• Ensure that donor and AKDN rules are being adhered to regarding procurement, accounting, project expenditure, and implementation of activities through regular reporting, engagement with the field, and remote spot checks
• Carry out monitoring visits and audits on specific projects as necessary
• Assist in the preparation, support, and follow up of internal or external grant audits and expenditure verifications of AKDN field units, including direct liaison with auditors as required, and ensure that management (programmes and finance) is apprised, including through maintaining and updating the audit and disallowance summary
• Develop and deliver relevant training and reference material on grants management, including procurement, donor regulations, IATI, finance and reporting for Programme, Finance, and other field-based staff; act as a resource for agencies/field units on donor regulations and compliance
• Ensure all AKF (UK) direct grants are reflected on the IATI system, and update the required information on a quarterly basis
4.3 Audit, internal controls and risk
• Contribute on programme finance to all audits and statutory compliance in line with UK and AKF/AKDN regulations and compliance requirements
• In collaboration with field units, prepare due diligence assessments for potential new partners or donors and ensure these are refreshed periodically
• Troubleshoot financial, donor compliance and procurement-related queries identified through monitoring grants or as raised by management or field units
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants. Normally this could be 2 – 3 trips per year.

5.1 Qualifications
• CCAB qualified accountant (desirable).
5.2 Experience
• 3 years relevant experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Experience of designing and managing effective administrative systems and procedures
• Experience of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Experience working in international organisations or donor agencies including field-level implementation highly desirable
• Experience working with EC, ECHO, DFID or equivalent and familiarity with the various compliance rules and regulations highly desirable

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a UK-based charity that aims to improve the lives of people with cystic fibrosis and their families. This role sits in the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team and will work closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts) and the Trusts and Statutory Manager to help the team achieve its plans for growth.
The main purpose of this role is to build relationships with and grow income from charitable trusts and corporate foundations to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s strategic aims.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts up to the midlevel range with the possibility of working with the team on higher level proposals where opportunities arise.
As Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer, you will:
- Identify and develop new trusts relationships to increase the prospect base for the Trust
- Build on existing pipelines and working with the prospect researcher to develop a strong pipeline of trusts and foundations at 4- and 5-figure level
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to maximise the fundraising opportunities presented by existing and new programme and research activities
- Develop and implement key donor cultivation plans to ensure opportunities are maximised
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience raising funds from trusts and/or foundations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Experience of researching and developing relationships with senior stakeholders, and current and prospective funding partners
- Corporate foundations fundraising experience desirable, but not essential

The Public Affairs and Policy Manager will play a crucial role in helping to determine and shape TMs policy goals and how best to achieve them. You will lead TMs Public relations and influencing work developing relationships with policy makers, partner organisations, parliamentarians and the media. You will ensure co-production and the voice and lived experiences ethnic Romani (Gypsy), Traveller and Roma is central to all our engagement and influencing work.
