About the role
This is an exciting time to join our dynamic Community Fundraising Team who are dedicated to providing support and advice to thousands of individuals, groups, local businesses to fundraise and take part in events. As a Community Fundraiser, with expert relationship building skills, you’ll be responsible for engaging with current and potential new supporters within your designated area to generate leads to raise funds for the charity.

Community Fundraising Manager
The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.
Within this role, you will achieve agreed fundraising targets through effective management, support and cultivation of both existing and new regional supporters including: individuals, groups, associations, local corporates and schools whilst maximising the current portfolio of Mencap owned products. The Fundraising Partnerships Manager will be responsible for securing and account managing national corporate partnerships, and national trusts and foundations to help air ambulance charities save even more lives across the UK.

Account Management

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will generate income and impact for the Stroke Association by identifying and winning new partnerships with businesses that have an affinity to our cause.
There will also be an opportunity to manage and uplift some of our existing partnerships, helping to ensure that we’re optimising every opportunity with our warmest supporters, driving greater engagement, commitment and income.

· Potential to personally manage partnerships once business has been secured, with the possibility of taking on management of existing partnerships to help grow and uplift the value they deliver.
· To sell in fundraising products to potential partners, often on a cold calling basis, and to contribute creative fundraising ideas to help the Corporate Partnerships team develop new fundraising product ideas for proposals, applications and pitches
About You
We need someone with creativity and flair. Someone who can marshal emotions, facts and figures to help us put stroke on the map. An ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to articulate the value of corporate partnerships to all parties will be crucial.
You will have a proven track record of:
· Securing and/or managing partnerships (in the charitable or private sector) worth £6-figure+ sums across a variety of income streams e.g. strategic, Charity of the Year, sponsorship
· Making successful cold approaches to potential supporters/clients

Main purpose and scope of Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Bid Writer to join our Business Development team working on tender opportunities, tracking new and existing business and handling of new contracts for POhWER.
POhWER needs to increase and diversify its income to achieve greater financial sustainability. To do this we need to grow our services to reach new parts of the UK and new areas of work. However we also recognise the importance of retaining our existing contracts. To support this ambition we are looking for someone to support and work with our existing team.
Our Bid Writers coordinate the organisation’s response to all tenders. This includes re-tendering for our existing services as well as responding to tenders for services in new areas, or new services in our existing areas.
The role includes:
· Lead and co-ordinate tender activity ensuring that POhWER wins and retains new and existing services and contracts
· Take ownership of the bid response, style and format and overseeing it through the production process.
· Prepare and write tenders in a persuasive manner that takes full account of customer-specific style and content.
You will have excellent written communication, attention to detail and proof reading skills and a good knowledge of POhWER’s services. You will also have an ability to work to strict deadlines and a confident, flexible and positive attitude.

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation. Refugee Biriyani and Bananas (RBB) is a small grassroots organisation that provides humanitarian aid to displaced communities in Greece and worldwide. We are looking for someone with the skills and determination to help grow our charity over the coming years through effective fundraising across various revenue streams.
We are looking to grow from a small to medium-sized charity over the coming years and to scale the humanitarian aid we can provide across multiple locations. RBB is led by founder and CEO Ruhi Akhtar, 5 engaged Trustees, and a small team of staff and volunteers running our programmes.
To achieve this, we are opening this new role in RBB, looking for an experienced, creative and driven Fundraising Manager with a proven track record of income generation for small charities. The individual will lead on all aspects of our revenue growth with a focus on building a pipeline of opportunities and fundraising capacity across the organisation. Role Summary
