The Programme Officer role will report to the Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

The Programme Officer will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a number of our services.  You will have a clear focus of delivering high quality programmes that are run smoothly, efficiently, within budget and achieve the desired outcomes and objectives for both the partners and the young people.

You will support others within your team to deliver high quality programmes from programme initiation through to evaluation that will directly contribute to the company's growth strategy and impact.

The Programme Officer will also be a key member of the department and contribute to systems and maximising efficiency, delivering programme coordination to an excellent standard that produces high impact for our young people and partners.

In this role, you will work closely with our Youth Ambassadors, Facilitator Team and Digital Communications and Marketing team.

Summary of the role:

The HR Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider People and Culture team in the delivery of HR services. The role will focus on a range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, aspects of payroll, L&D, travel logistics and other generalist HR duties. A key part of the role will be to provide support in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet all Muslim Aid’s staffing needs.  

About the Role:

1. Ensure a smooth, efficient and welcoming onboarding and probation process for new employees.  
2. Facilitate the recruitment process by assisting hiring managers in meeting departmental needs. Responsibilities include crafting job descriptions, posting ads, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
3. Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
4. Prepare payroll amendment sheets for UK and International staff.
5. Assist with performance management processes and employee relations issues.
6. Support HR analytics requirements to track performance metrics.

To be successful in this role you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a generalist HR role, in particular recruitment and employee relations.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.

5. Knowledge of recruitment techniques and good practices.

This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. Presently, it employs four full-time ordained ministers, one full-time lay pastor, and a part-time administrator. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. Role Context

Role Description

This new role of Programme Officer (Social Change) will play an integral part in ensuring our grant making has the best possible impact. Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) and the wider Impact Team, you will be the first point of contact for potential grant applicants and deliver effective processes that ensure that anyone who applies to us for funding has a positive experience, whether they are successful or not. You will lead on all aspects of administering our Social Change grant calls and provide the rest of the team with the information needed to support robust and transparent decision-making. Role Responsibilities:

Administering grant processes:

· Working with the Programme Manager (Social Change) to update application and guidance forms for each funding round

· Work closely with colleagues to set up the grant call in our online grant management system.

· Provide guidance to potential applicants and respond to their queries, e.g. about eligibility.

· Work with colleagues who run the research funding programme to ensure that opportunities for efficiencies and shared processes are maximised

· Process grant applications, ensuring that we adhere to the highest standards of grant making

· Assist with the preparation of papers to support our decision-making processes, including supporting our Social Change Grants Assessment Panel (SGAP) by ensuring they have all relevant information and that the meetings run smoothly.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer within our Platform Service Team. You will have demonstrable experience in a marketing or communications role, as well as experience of dealing with a range of media including maintaining and developing websites. You will also have experience of writing case studies, blogs and other communications and using social platforms to develop communities.

Salary: £31,016 - £35,446 per annum

In this role, you will support the delivery of all internal and external communications activities, the delivery of PR strategies and campaigns to increase Picker's media profile and broader communication and organisation brand objectives. You will work to ensure the consistency and quality of all external communications and to disseminate the organisation's evaluation/improvement activity, research outputs and policy messages, via our website, newsletter and social channels.

This role

In this role, you will:

• Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in developing the organisation's communications strategy
• Help to implement communications initiatives
• Support the teams with the development and dissemination of effective marketing materials
• Provide editorial support and copywriting expertise to other teams so that accurate copy is produced in line with brand image and protocols
• Work collaboratively with other teams, creating strong links between other programmes and projects to ensure the successful implementation of marketing and communication campaigns
• To support the production of written content such as blogs and case studies
• Work with our PR consultant to distribute press releases and external content
• Monitor the media and wide external environment to identify opportunities for Picker to raise its media profile
• Support and implement a variety of internal communications to enhance employee engagement and retention
• Responsible for the day to day maintenance and ongoing development of the website
• Coordinate all social media activity
• Develop ideas for our social content to increase its appeal
• Monitor SEO rankings, optimise content and improve website performance

About You

You will have:

• Experience of working in a Comms or Marketing role
• Experience of dealing with a range of media
• Experience of using social platforms to develop communities
• Experience of maintaining and developing websites
• An interest in healthcare quality and person centred care
• Ability to work independently, initiating new communications activities under managerial direction
• Experience in using graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign or Photoshop

About The Role

The newly created Chief Financial Officer role will support Garsington Opera in driving longer-term commercial and strategic growth. Working closely with the Executive Director and as part of the senior management team, you will optimise new revenue streams and ensure business and financial systems are fit for purpose in supporting new revenue growth.  Areas of responsibility will include:

Financial strategy and planning

• Collaborate with the SMT to plan, manage and advise on financial performance, maintaining a robust model to meet organisational needs including annual budgeting and long-term planning.
• Develop and maintain robust business and financial models to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
• Steer and develop commercial revenue streams. 
• Provide financial vision, strategic planning and discipline across the organisation.

Financial accounting and management

• Oversee, maintain and develop good financial reporting and statutory compliance, in collaboration with the Finance Director
• Oversee the preparation of accounts for external audit work.
• Provide information to SMT budget holders, challenging plans where appropriate and always seeking opportunities to optimise financial performance.

Leadership

• Provide reports on financial information and trends to the Board and its committees.
• Provide excellent team leadership as a member of SMT, engaging with all direct and indirect reports.
•  Develop and lead effective and robust procurement policies for the organisation, ensuring that needs are understood and resourced appropriately.
• Staff management of finance team

About You

• You will be a fully qualified accountant with senior financial leadership experience.
• You will have proven experience in engaging with Board members and Executive or Senior Management Teams.

What’s in it for you?

• Salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum dependent on experience
