About the role:
This is a maternity cover opportunity for a valued role in our Senior Leadership Team. This position is critical to our work in training healthcare professionals to understand how the law applies to practice. You will be delivering our ambitious plans to take our training service to the next level at this critical time, with support of our two brilliant training co-ordinators and a wider team of associate trainers. About the team
The team deliver a range of services, including training on housing and homelessness prevention, housing law consultancy, online resources and projects to support professionals working directly with people at risk of homelessness to get positive outcomes. The team covers all of England and works closely with teams including Learning and Organisational Development, Training and Support, Business Support, as well as our frontline Services and Legal Services.
About the role
Knowledge is power and we run over 1,600 training courses that attract 40,000 delegates each year. Your challenge, together with three other Operations Assistants will be to take responsibility for the administration and operational delivery of all of our courses, including face-to-face training and online via webinars and e-learning. We’ll rely on you to ensure that each course runs smoothly, all delegates and trainers have the instructions and information they need and that the highest level of customer care is provided. The position:
The primary focus of the position is to support the operational side of the organisation and the Managing Director. You’ll need to be good at multitasking and highly collaborative.

Hours:
This is a part time position of 28 hours per week over 5 days (or some of these days) with the working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced proportionately to 22.5 hours per week, spanning Monday to Thursday (or some of these days), with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms with the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 28 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided.

- Manage the development and operations of WaterAid Canada's individual giving portfolios, including annual, monthly, and leadership donors.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the annual and leadership giving stewardship.
- Plan and execute annual giving campaigns, including direct mail, digital acquisition, and third-party fundraisers.
- Development and implement strategies to enhance donor engagement, stewardship, and retention.

The digital team at Breast Cancer Now are leading a transformation in how we present our information and services to people affected by breast cancer. We are looking for a digital project manager who will be responsible for the delivery, tracking and communication associated with a number of key cross orgnanisational projects. About the organisation:
The employer is an education charity with over fifty years of experience in international volunteering for young people. They organise challenging, long-term placements for 17–25-year-olds with partnership organisations in Africa, Asia and the Americas.
