Who we are

Act4Africa UK is a well-established charity working with long-standing partners in the Mayuge District of South Eastern Uganda to reduce poverty and transform communities, with a heavy focus on improving gender equality through female empowerment. Central to our work, we believe reducing gender inequality provides the most fundamental obstacle to eradicating poverty. Our vision is to build confidence and capability amongst the most vulnerable women and girls.. To make this happen, we implement a holistic approach to Health, Education, Agriculture and Livelihoods.

The main focus of our UK operation is to provide support to our partners through generating donations and sourcing grants.
