About us

Who we are

We’re Age Cymru West Glamorgan, proud to celebrate 50 years of standing alongside people in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.

We’re more than a charity — we’re a community. Every day we deliver trusted, quality-assured and person-centred support that helps people age well and love later life. From information and advice, to dementia support, to our joyful Coach Club trips, we listen, respond and empower people to live life on their own terms.

Whether someone is seeking guidance, a friendly voice, or just a chance to get out and about, we’re here — making sure later life is full of possibility.

Our culture and values

At the heart of everything we do is a belief in freedom and responsibility. We give our people the space to innovate, make decisions, and bring their strengths to the table — while holding ourselves accountable to our values.

Our values are summed up in the way we C.A.R.E:

  • Centred – We put people first, tailoring every service to their needs.

  • Adaptive – We see the individual, always ready to listen, learn and adjust.

  • Responsive – We act on feedback quickly and constructively.

  • Efficient – We never waste what’s given; donations and resources are treated as the gifts they are.

Working here feels like being part of something bigger. We’re united by our mission, but we also know how to laugh, share a journey, and enjoy the simple moments that make our work worthwhile.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

We believe the best decisions — and the best support — come from a diversity of voices and experiences. That’s why fairness, inclusion and respect are built into the way we work.

We are an equal opportunities employer and proud to create an environment where every individual can thrive. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and actively encourage diversity of thought, experience and perspective.

For us, inclusion isn’t just a policy; it’s how we deliver better services. By reflecting the communities we serve, we ensure our work is more relevant, more compassionate, and more impactful.

Put simply: everyone belongs here.
