About us

Who we are

BCL is an independent library in Belsize Park run by a local children’s and youth development charity The Winch after Camden Council’s funding ceased in 2012.

BCL opened its doors on June 6th 2012 and has been evolving its library activities supported by the Friends of Belsize Library, Volunteers and Local Groups. We run multiple activities in the library that support the library lending service and help keep it running.
