Make a Smile

Who we are

At Make a Smile, our goal is to bring some magic to children who have had a difficult start to life; be that through disability, neurodivergence or adverse life experiences. Our volunteers visit playgroups, hospitals and specialist centres in costume so that children can meet their favourite characters (Disney princesses, superheroes Jedis etc) 

Volunteers sign up for events as and when they can attend, meaning that we're completely flexible! 
 

Our culture and values

We strive to be at the top of our field. We believe that by being well-trained and constantly adapting our practice and pushing the boundaries, we can help as many children as possible in the best possible way, with accurate, inclusive, enthusiastic, DBS-checked volunteers. 

We endeavour to be professional, forward-thinking and well-trained but hold at the forefront of our practice that fun is the number one priority for both children and volunteers.
