Who we are

Music Relief Foundation (MRF) is a registered charity serving young people and families from grassroots communities for over ten years. We're a local community and arts charity and run a range of services, with our largest one being our Music School Service, to serve our local grassroots communities. 

Our Vision:

Is to provide a range of opportunities through our various and holistic services by connecting and establishing partnerships with local creatives, community groups, schools and voluntary groups to build a strong access point and foundation for our local community. 

Our purposes are:

• To make music more accessible by offering affordable lessons and expertise.
• To provide opportunities for unleashing the creative spirits of our local people. 
• To facilitate a nurturing environment, to build a safe and welcoming space for our community to build connections.
• To provide a platform for youth voices, local people and creatives to be heard

The reason we started the Music School programme, which works with and alongside our other projects, was because we saw that there was a gap in opportunities for the grassroots communities to gain access into the creative industries. With this in mind, the programme's aim is to make music more accessible, by offering affordable music lessons to the local grassroots community who often miss out on these opportunities.
