Who we are
Northern Rascals creates contemporary dance-theatre rooted in Northern stories, human experience and socially conscious themes, driven by a playful, rebellious spirit that fosters safe, collaborative spaces.
We work with audiences, community participants, young people and young creatives — offering inspiring live performances, wellbeing-led creative spaces, access to arts pathways, and mentoring, training and paid opportunities that support confidence, skills and sustainable creative careers in the North.
Northern Rascals:

Produces live tours of our original dance-theatre work, performed at venues across England.

Delivers a wide ranging outreach and engagement programme working with community partners, schools and colleges and dance conservatoires.

Upskills and mentors young dance graduates during and after their professional training, supporting routes into careers in dance
