Who we are

We are proud to be enabling and supporting independent living predominantly for residents over 60 years old.

With over 1400 quality homes in Kingston-Upon-Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, we deliver high-quality services with a particular social value emphasis on health and wellbeing in later life.

We have a proud heritage, dating back to 1910, our origins lay with the philanthropic activities of two prominent Hull businessmen – Christopher Pickering and Thomas Ferens. 

We are a small but mighty organisation, a great place to work and our ambition to continue to grow to meet demand drives us forward.
