Who we are
Regeneration Theatre Company is a professional not for profit theatre company created to make and present the highest quality professional theatre and therapeutic drama workshops in both professional settings and in the criminal justice system, homeless and mental health settings. We work with key delivery partners like MIND, St Mungos and individual prison services to develop and deliver programmes that we know help tackle societal inequality and offer better life chances to all.
Over the last eight months we have gathered the support of James (Lord) Timpson (Minister of State for Prisons, Parole and Probation), Lisa Nandy MP (Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport), the Centre for Social Justice and various individual donors and celebrity supporters. We have raised over £100k from individual giving, presented our one person Hamlet ‘The Play’s The Thing’ at Wilton’s Music Hall April in April 2025 - garnering four and five star reviews, and are embarking on a short rural tour and our first drama workshop programmes in prisons and with third sector organisations in Summer 2025.
