About us
Who we are
We’re a small, community-led cultural organisation delivering festivals, events, workshops, and creative projects across music, arts, food, and learning. We work collaboratively, value care and inclusion, and keep things practical rather than overly corporate.
You’ll be working closely with a supportive core team who share ideas openly, make decisions together, and care about doing things properly while staying flexible. We’re organised but not rigid, creative but grounded, and we place a strong emphasis on mutual respect, clear communication, and learning as we go.
We support volunteers by offering flexibility, trust, and meaningful involvement. Roles are shaped around people’s skills and availability, with space to contribute ideas and see the real impact of your work on the communities we serve.
Our culture and values
We’re guided by values of inclusion, care, and collaboration. We believe culture should be accessible, welcoming, and rooted in community, and we work in ways that reflect that belief.
Our working culture is open, respectful, and trust-based. We value clear communication, shared responsibility, and people bringing their whole selves and skills to the table. We aim to work sustainably, support one another, and create an environment where ideas are listened to and contributions genuinely matter.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion and to creating a working environment that is fair, respectful, and free from discrimination. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences, and we actively seek to remove barriers to participation.
We work in inclusive and flexible ways, make reasonable adjustments wherever possible, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind is not tolerated, and we are committed to ongoing learning and reflection to ensure our practices remain fair and inclusive.
