The Social Supermarket Initiative (SSI) is a community-led social enterprise and Community Food Hub based in Southwark, London. We address food insecurity, social isolation, and environmental waste by providing affordable, nutritious groceries and essentials through a dignified, low-cost supermarket model. Our approach champions choice, community, and continuity, blending economic inclusion, social impact, and sustainability.
