Who we are
The Story Forge is a new grassroots literacy project based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. We believe every child should have the chance to discover the joy of storytelling and the confidence that comes from finding their voice.
We create free, inclusive workshops led by children’s authors and illustrators, designed to nurture creativity, imagination and self-expression. Our work is rooted in local partnerships and aims to support children who might not otherwise access the arts.
Founded in 2025 by a children’s author and former writing tutor, we’re now building our board, our programmes, and our community of volunteers. This is a chance to join us in our first chapter and help shape something meaningful from the ground up.
