About us
Who we are
Transport Action Network (TAN) was set up in 2019 to provide grassroots support to people and communities facing a lack of transport choice, such as a lack of bus services, safe roads to cycle on, or facing damaging new road schemes. This support is provided free of charge.
Currently there are 6 people working at TAN, primarily covering England and Wales, including two people who run Low Traffic Future, an alliance of organisations promoting the benefits of less traffic. We are spread out across geographically and all work remotely.
