About us
Who we are
Our mission is to support people who are marginalised or disadvantaged, in our area of benefit. We believe in an inclusive, diverse and cohesive community and we want our funding to benefit people who have difficulty accessing resources, face discrimination or may experience poorer social, economic or health outcomes. Much of our funding is in the form of small grants to local groups and charities who work directly with the most disadvantaged in society.
Our culture and values
As a place-based funder we aim to have strong local connections and we have Trustees on our Board who have long-standing personal connections within the communities we serve as well as a range of professional experience. A strong cohort of Trustees gives us the tools and knowledge to manage our grant-making and our charity, for the best impact in our area of benefit.
