Who we are
YMCA Yorkshire Coast is a local, independent charity supporting people to discover who they are and who they can become. Based in Scarborough, we provide a welcoming community centre that includes a 290-seat theatre, a café, and multipurpose studios. We support young people and adults through creative arts, mental health support, food aid, inclusive activities, and skills development. Everything we do aims to empower people, strengthen community ties, and provide opportunities for personal growth.
