We are looking for a People Coordinator to join the National Theatre People Operations Team (FTC - 12 Months)
The purpose of the role
The People Team provide advice, guidance and support to all National Theatre staff, line managers and senior leaders on people policies; terms and conditions of employment; recruitment and selection; performance management; staff engagement; diversity and inclusion; trade union and employee relations; discipline, grievance, and capability processes; and training and career development. This role is an excellent entry level role to the work of a human resources function. Working in close collaboration with colleagues to provide a full administrative support to the People Team, assisting the team in delivering a positive, proactive, and outward-facing operational HR to the National Theatre.
The primary focus of this role is the full employee lifecycle and payroll administration, recruitment administration and managing first-line HR queries in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Excellent attention to detail and able to prioritise conflicting demands.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Experience of working effectively under pressure and managing multiple priorities, with good time management skills and with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience of proactively identifying where practices can be improved and proposing solutions to manage them.
- Experience of using a system to support tasks and working within defined processes.
- Experience of writing and communicating in a clear way to ensure the provision of an excellent service to the People team and the wider National Theatre.

Role
This is a generalist HR role, were you will be completing tasks such as collating information, processing monthly payroll, drafting correspondence, managing employees mandatory checks, as well as supporting the starters and leavers process
Duties
- Being first point of contact for all payroll queries.
- Managing and processing payroll on a monthly basis.
- Liaising with HR team and Employees/ Managers in regard to any payroll queries.
- Liaising with external payroll company.
- Keeping track and monitoring employee mandatory checks
- Drafting any change of terms letters, probation letters, supporting in investigation meeting as required
- Drafting invitation letters to meetings
- Providing support with starters and leavers process.
- Responding to resignation letters, calculating leave allowances and providing references where needed.
- Carrying out HR Induction for all new starters.
- Supporting with booking in employee training and employee training requests
- Providing support with recruitment as required
- Support with ER cases where necessary.
- Writing general HR correspondence
- Supporting the HR team with responses to queries and general HR admin tasks.

I am currently seeking an Interim HR Officer for a 12 month contract with a Charity based in North London. The role will pay a salary between £30,000 and £33,000 per year depending upon experience and will require travel into their offices and services 2 to 3 days per week in North London and Berkshire (a couple of times per month). Your role will include: -
- Supporting the HR Advisers and Senior HR Advisers in the provision of a day-to-day Human Resources service to all managers.
- Supporting HR Advisers and Senior HR Advisers on the management of casework, to include flexible working meetings, absence management meetings, probations and first line disciplinary cases.
- Supporting and advising line managers and colleagues in all areas of employment and policies.
- Providing administrative support to the HR Advisors and Senior HR Advisers, e.g. arranging hearings, taking notes, supporting the production of letters and disciplinary packs

Job Responsibilities
The General Manager is integral to the management of Deptford X and the delivery and development of its ambitious programmes. The General Manager works closely with the Director and Board of Trustees as part of a small and supportive team to contribute actively and creatively to the development of the organisation, as well as overseeing daily and organisational operations. The General Manager supervises office management, communications, administration, financial management, staffing, programme delivery logistics, reporting and evaluation; and works collaboratively with the Director on strategic and financial development, including embedded environmental sustainability.
