We are looking for an outstanding individual that will provide seamless, executive level assistance and support to our Director of Dementia Support and Partnerships. This is an engaging & exciting role that sits at the heart of the organisation and has lots of touch points across the whole Society.
As the Executive Assistant to the Director, you will be essential in optimising the effectiveness of leadership. This role requires impeccable organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail. We are looking for someone who can provide high level administrative support, managing a complex calendar, co-ordinating travel, and scheduling high level internal and external meetings with efficiency to ensure the best use of the Director’s time.
This role will require you to take exceptional quality minutes, accurately recording discussions during meetings, producing high level minutes that capture essential actions and decisions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to use your advanced planning skills to proactively organise and prepare for upcoming meetings, engagements, and deadlines, adapting swiftly to changes with agility and foresight.
We are looking for someone who can research and craft senior level presentations and briefing notes that inform and drive strategic discussions. You will co-ordinate multiple high-level meetings, seamlessly arranging and overseeing logistics, ensuring all parties are well prepared and that outcomes align with objectives.

About the Role
As a key member of the Strategy and Impact Directorate, you will establish and lead one of our strategic programmes and focus on building key relationships, developing a portfolio of projects and helping us achieve our strategic ambitions.
You will be able to draw on the organisational resources, bringing them together around the problem with a clear and unrelenting focus on impact. Whilst it is important that you bring an effective and efficient approach, it is also critical that you bring creativity and vision to enable the programmes to realise their full potential.
As an experienced senior manager, you will lead the organisation’s Workforce Wellbeing Programme, bringing together a range of projects and activities that respond to the challenges and emotional distress faced by the NHS workforce on a daily basis.
Or, you will lead the Living Well Programme, bringing together a range of projects and activities that respond to the challenges presented by inequality and help to unlock the power of people and communities to create health, maintain good health and to manage as effectively as possible whilst living with one or more chronic conditions which in turn seeks to reduce or avoid demand on NHS services
About You
Whichever Programme you lead, you will have experience of:
· Leading complex multi-partner and stakeholder programmes in the VCSE or public sector
· Leading large programmes including programme management, governance, monitoring, impact measurement and reporting
· Working in an evolving strategic and operational environment and able to maintain and direct impactful programmes through periods of change
· Building and delivering communication strategies, using learning and insight to drive transformation
· Leadership and people management
· Co-production, collaboration and partnership working
· Working in a team to support the delivery of team objectives

Major Gifts Manager, International Fundraising
Position Objective:
To solicit major gifts (£5,000 and above) to support PETA’s international programmes and campaigns.
To build and advance relationships with PETA entities’ major donors and prospects.

Reports to:
Assistant Director, International Fundraising
Salary:
£38,000 - £43,000
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for international for major gifts fundraising
- Manage and maintain a portfolio major gift donors and prospects, across PETA international entities
- Effectively steward donors and prospects
- Develop personal engagement plans for donors, using knowledge and insights to plan appropriate communications
- Solicit major financial contributions from targeted donors
- Manage a pipeline of prospects, creating engaging opportunities for donors to increase their giving to a higher level
- Acknowledge, thank and recognise donors appropriate to their level of support, and ensure restricted gifts are appropriately allocated
- Maintain accurate records on PETA entities’ databases with relevant information and research
- Work with the prospect researcher to obtain useful information, helping make appropriate asks
- Participate in budgeting process
- Monitor donors’ motivations and interests – keeping accurate and up to date records in the database
- Develop cultivation events within regional hotspots throughout PETA entities
- Work collaboratively with PETA staff across PETA entities
- Maintain a clear understanding of – and the ability to articulate – PETA's objectives as well as details of specific PETA programmes
- Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
- Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant departmental software (e.g. ROI, ResearchPoint, Raiser's Edge, etc) in order to improve communication with donors
- Assist with the preparation and proofreading of mailings and other communications, as needed
- Work with the wider major gifts team and VP of International Fundraising on all aspects of cultivation and stewardship
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Be aware of GDPR and its implementation in European territories
- Perform and manage any other projects or duties requested by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of major giving fundraising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prepare professional business communications
- Proven ability to interact with donors in a professional and personable manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
