The Role
Our Practitioner Led Assessment Service is the entry point for our beneficiaries seeking support from the Charity. Our Assessment Practitioners work in partnership with our beneficiaries to identify goals, individual needs and appropriate solutions.
The team provide advice, information and support and work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure our beneficiaries are offered the right support at the right time.
Reporting into the Beneficiary Experience and Continuity Lead you will be responsible for day-to-day management of the practitioner led assessment service, holding a small case load and reviewing and resolving complex cases with the team.
You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across health improvement and rehabilitation services, to ensure services are integrated, person centred, outcome focused and based on an ethos of recovery.

About You
An excellent communicator, with a can-do-attitude, you will be a registered health or social care practitioner with a broad skill and knowledge base and will be experienced in managing a multi-professional team.

The role: Fundraising Manager
We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with a passion for our mission, who will build positive relationships to secure significant income, working together to harness the power of adventure to create lasting change and transform communities for all.
This is a new role, leading our small but growing Fundraising Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English language classes (ESOL) for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. - This role is an exciting opportunity to form part of a team coordinating and developing our digital services, including contributing to two multi-year service development programmes currently underway, Osteoporosis Connect and Medication Support (Action for Osteoporosis) and overseeing our online peer-support communities.
- We’re looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport, empathise with others, and foster positive relationships both online and offline.
- Do you have experience supporting online communities or support spaces, preferably within a healthcare or charitable organisation?
- Do you have experience coordinating projects or services? (digital experience would be ideal)
- Do you have experience of navigating sensitive or contentious topics with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism, ideally within online communities?

We’re looking for someone with experience of both campaigning, including an understanding of the basic tools and techniques used in campaigning, and of working with volunteers and services users, including how best to support them to achieve their campaigning goals.
About the role
You’ll lead and coordinate our local campaigning work across Wales. Your work will help the charity improve the lives of people in local communities affected by Parkinson’s. You’ll listen to the needs of our local communities and work with volunteers and colleagues in the wider Wales team to do focussed campaigning and advocacy work.
Through co-production you’ll ensure that the voices of people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers are heard by decision makers.
What you’ll do:

Support the development and delivery of campaigns activity for Wales and proactively identify opportunities for public-facing campaigns.

Recruit and manage a sustainable community of campaign volunteers.

Use our national campaign priorities to deliver related local campaign activity.

Organise and deliver training events for people with lived experience who wish to engage as well as campaign volunteers.

Create content for public facing elements of campaigns, including supporter actions, web pages, newsletter and social media.
What you’ll bring:

Ability to network and build supportive relationships with volunteers, MSs/MPs and health bodies.

Experience of delivering training to a variety of audiences

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join the charity. This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of IT. The aim of this role is to encompass the charity’s Helpdesk (1st through 3rd line support) and IT Technician responsibilities to include new builds and repairs, network and server maintenance, telecoms improvements as well as project support. This role is based at our head office in Snetterton, Norfolk and will support all our sites across the UK as well as end users abroad. Occasional travel to our four UK sites will be required.
We are looking for someone with experience in Windows Operating Systems (Pro/Enterprise & Server), Mobile Operating Systems (Android & iOS), M365 administration (including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Exchange Online), Windows Server roles - DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Print and Networking (including routers, switches, cabling, APs).
The successful candidate will have great people & communication skills and be able to communicate concepts and instructions clearly to people with non-technical backgrounds.
This role is initially being opened on a fixed-term basis, with opportunity to review after 12 months once an IT roadmap has been developed.
