As Social Media Manager, you will be the social media expert at RNID and be responsible for creating exciting and meaningful content. The Social Media Manager in the Marketing and Communications team will focus and lead on:

Raising Futures Kenya is an award-winning small UK charity, working closely alongside a wonderful partner NGO in Kenya to deliver a hugely successful vocational training and business skills programme called Seed of Hope.
Since 2002 Seed of Hope has supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 in Kenya with the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, computer skills and business skills. We are looking for a talented storyteller and writer to join our small team in the UK and create exceptional content. Main purpose and scope of the role:
Parentkind is a national charity and we work across all four nations of the United Kingdom and the devolved institutions and governments.
The successful candidate would be expected to support our work in Northern Ireland and have demonstrable experience of the political system in Northern Ireland.
In addition to their work in Northern Ireland the successful candidate will support the wider aims of the Policy and Research Department across the UK.
We are the voice of parents in education, we represent 13,000 Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) and have an ambition to develop an internal parent ‘think tank’ within the organisation.
This is an exciting role if you have a passion for politics, a background in policy research and interested in education policy and politics.
The role will involve conducting research on education policy and making policy recommendations based on that research. Some research will be time sensitive and involve summarising information and presenting it in an easy to understand way. There will be longer research projects to support the charity to develop policy positions and maintain our position as a strong voice for parents in education.
Alongside the research requirements of the role, you will be expected to support our political and broader stakeholder engagement activity to make sure the work we do is understood and seen by the right people.

Purpose of role

Primary responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy

Despite this, there has been little research systematically analysing the effectiveness of social movements and the strategies or tactics that most influence the success of these campaigns. Our research addresses this neglected knowledge gap and provides actionable advice to advocates and philanthropists working on a variety of important issues, with a focus on animal advocacy and climate change. We support activist groups in choosing effective campaigning strategies and tactics (e.g. via delivering training and workshops) as well as supporting funders with their philanthropic giving. Our work has been covered in respected outlets such as The Guardian, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Deutsche Welle, the New York Times, and more.
About the role
As the Director of Social Change Lab, you would have a high level of responsibility and high impact. You would lead our small team in delivering cutting-edge research on the outcomes and strategies of social movements and ensuring widespread communication of this work to key stakeholders. You would play a significant role in shaping our strategy and the programmes we want to deliver, such as research, capacity building, training or philanthropic advising.
The responsibilities of this role

Manage the day-to-day work of the organisation, including overseeing and coordinating various functions (e.g. research, communications, training and workshops, human resources, fundraising).

Lead Social Change Lab’s team, including line-managing and mentoring direct reports, developing talent, and taking ultimate responsibility for the performance, support and culture of the team.

This role requires a diverse skill set, which would benefit from those who have some experience with social science research, leading teams or organisations (e.g. managing a team, fundraising, hiring, etc.) as well as familiarity with grassroots movements. This is a new role for LTSB, and an exciting opportunity to shape the way our young people engage with our work from first contact through to alumni retention.
Working closely with the Communications Manager, the successful candidate will lead on our online presence to engage new and existing audiences through advertising and social media, ensuring a strong pipeline of applicants for our programmes. You’ll manage relationships with youth recruitment platforms (i.e. Not Going To Uni and Rate My Apprenticeship) and you’ll be responsible for collecting and analysing the relevant data.
You will also establish and manage our Youth Board and so experience of direct youth work would be an advantage, but an enthusiastic, creative approach to the task of creating the LTSB community is essential!

Harris Hill is searching for an Alumni and Development Executive for around 3 months to cover a leaver.
This role will need to start around the 22nd April for a handover with the current postholder. The post can be 3, 4 or 5 days per week but on the understanding that this be hybrid based with the need to attend their numerous sites, depending on alumni events.
This role has sites in London and Surrey, so you may need to attend either for specific events. This could be a couple times a month to a few times a week during holiday periods. These essentially correlate to alumi tours of the schools. You would know about these a couple weeks in advance and you would have some power to book these in dates and times that work. This does mean that a driver would be essential so you can get to the location. It is also noted that you could potenitally do the tour and go back and work from home.
