About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the fulfilment of MSI’s mission in Nigeria and India by facilitating effective project and donor-funded grant management; supporting financial and narrative donor reporting and compliance; contributing to the development of strategies to strengthen capacity in our country programmes as needed and supporting key business functions and processes including business planning, monthly performance reviews and risk and compliance meetings.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Young Persons Housing Advisors to join our team based in Hatfield! You will be responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to vulnerable people aged 18-24 years.

You will support vulnerable young people to find or maintain suitable accommodation. This involves setting up and or / sustaining their tenancies thus helping to prevent repeat homelessness. What will you be doing?
- Manage a caseload of young people aged 18-24yrs.
- Ensure that all young people work towards an agreed support plan which is regularly reviewed and adapted to ensure that they meet their individual needs and goals.
- Build a professional and trusting relationship with the young people to enable to them to engage with the support and improve their situation and prospects.
- Engage effectively in multi-agency working, developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with relevant staff in a range of agencies to broker and co-ordinate support for young people.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of income related subjects such as benefits, money advice & grants.
- Be hyh’s benefits & money advice specialist, sharing knowledge and providing advice to the teams.
- Take the lead in developing and delivering benefits and/or money advice training.
- Work in partnership with the Catalyst Housing Floating Support staff to provide a consistent service countywide.
- Be ambassador for the charity both internally & externally to further hyh aims whilst protecting and enhancing its reputation.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the UK’s biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. For 10 years, it has been transforming the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition through volunteer led Dementia Friends Sessions and tailored resources for organisations.
The programme supports individuals and organisations to understand more about dementia and inspires them to take meaningful action to bring help and hope to everyone affected by dementia. This varied role is all about engaging volunteers, organisations and other internal and external stakeholders with this flagship programme. The role will work across a specified region to recruit, engage, train and support Dementia Friends Ambassadors (DFAs) volunteers. ROLE
Stella Maris is growing as a charity, in terms of income generation and new programmes of activity around the world. To help support this development, we have created this new important role. The Fundraising & Communications team at Stella Maris comprises about 12 staff members (some full time; some part time). The team and the charity have now reached the point in their evolution where we need to appoint a Major Donor Manager. This post holder will offer excellent stewardship to our existing Major Donors. He/she will also help to identify and cultivate new potential Major Donors from within and outside our existing pool of individual donors. He/she will substantially grow the Major Donor income stream for the charity. He/she will cultivate and steward Major Donors to give in new and more impactful ways, will increase giving levels, will increase the number of Major Donors, and will create lasting and meaningful relationships with our most committed and generous supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and effective Major Donor fundraiser. The postholder will help us, as a leading maritime charity, to achieve our mission to support seafarers, fishers and their families around the world.
MAIN PURPOSE
The Major Donor Manager, reporting into the Director of Development and working with some guidance from the Head of Major Gifts, will maintain and grow a stable pipeline of income from Major Donors. He/she will secure unrestricted and restricted income from a portfolio of Major Donors to support the activities of the Stella Maris network in the UK and overseas. He/she will produce cultivation plans for individual Major Donors, meet them, craft tailored applications and reports for them.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Manage relationships with a portfolio of Major Donors in accordance with the Charities fundraising strategy and giving programme activity.
2 Establish individual donor cultivation, engagement and stewardship strategies, ensuring each prospect and existing donor has an appropriate communications and cultivation programme in place.
3 Ensure that donor profiling and research activity is undertaken on existing and potential Major Donors (within data protection regulation guidelines) in order to enhance and develop relations.
4 Identify potential Major Donors from within the Mid-Value Donor portfolio and help graduate them up to Major Donor giving levels.
5 Working with the Governance and Executive team, conduct meetings and visits with individual Major Donors around the UK.
6 Accompany Major Donors on port visits within the UK and possibly abroad.
7 Craft carefully tailored applications, thank you letters and reports for Major Donors.
8 Support other senior staff and stakeholders, such as Trustees, in cultivating relationships with Major Donors by providing research and other information as required, and bringing them to meetings with Major Donors when appropriate.
9 Build and cultivate relationships with intermediaries, e.g. wealth advisers, lawyers.
10 Arrange events for Major Donors.
11 Ensure that all activity is recorded accurately on the charity’s Customer Relationship Management database, and that actions are undertaken in a timely and professional manner.
12 Extract monthly reports on activity levels with Major Donors, e.g. number of contacts, meetings, asks, etc., and circulate this internally to selected senior staff members.

Most childhood cancers are curable. We know this because survival rates in the UK and Europe regularly top 80%. But for children in low and middle-income countries, the prognosis is bleak with their chance of survival falling to 20%.

Overview
The Programme Manager role will be crucial to the success and development of the charity. About the Role
The Other Multilaterals and Government (OMG) team sits within the Global Programmes and Philanthropy (GPP) team and has responsibility for MSI’s donor portfolio, including stewarding global and bilateral contracts and grant agreements with European and North American government donors and UN agencies. The team leads contract negotiations, organises kick-off workshops for internal stakeholders and partners, monitors project performance and spending, coordinates project inputs from the wider organisation (e.g. GEDSI assessments and strategies, MERL plans, technical assistance), tracks and escalates risks and issues, liaises with the donor on ad hoc requests, donor visits and collaborative initiatives such as webinars, leads donor reporting with the support of country programmes and the donor finance team, supports the operations team to manage close-out processes, elicits and disseminates learning on donors and donor stewardship, and the contributes to donor engagement.
This is a critical role. The stewardship standards set by GPP impact the quality of programming, MSI’s reputation and future fundraising prospects. The role also provides a wealth of professional development opportunities, providing rich insights into donors, programme delivery and support functions. - Strong finance management experience including budgeting, budget tracking and analysing financial performance.
- Demonstrated experience of donor standards and expectations, including working with high compliance donors such as EU, KFW, and USAID.
- Demonstrated experience mitigating and managing risk on projects.

Part 1: Role Purpose:
The Head of Program position, reporting to the Country Director in Afghanistan, is responsible for leading a diverse programme portfolio across multiple provinces and partners in Afghanistan. The primary objectives of this role are to secure additional resources to support our work across the country and lead the design and implementation of Street Child’s programme in Afghanistan. Specifically, the postholder will lead the programmes team (including food security, child protection and education project managers and localisation advisor); lead our partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders; drive our resource mobilization; ensure effective programme implementation; provide strategic technical expertise in Education programming; and provide capacity building to staff and partners as required. Additionally, the Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for external liaison with national and international partners, government officials, and donor community, deputising for the Country Director as required. Ideally, the Senior Programme Manager will have technical expertise in education programming and/or child protection.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
(40%) Programme Management and Coordination:
- Provide matrix management oversight for the successful delivery of projects; including technical input, activity planning and day-to-day liaison with the team and implementing partners to ensure quality implementation within timeframe and budget.
- Provide technical support in areas of own expertise (ideally education programming), including programme development, quality assurance, technical backstopping, and capacity strengthening and coaching for education team and partner staff.
- Lead on the delivery of consortia programmes that CIC are part of.
- Coordinate the identification of partner capacity development needs and the provision of targeted support.
- Ensure all donor, internal and external reporting requirements are met in a timely manner, and are in compliance with donor requirements of project/ program allocation.

- In close coordination with the Regional Representative and Country Director, identify and analyse new funding opportunities in Afghanistan in which Street Child can add value to the humanitarian and development response.
- Develop, implement, and review sector strategies and support the Country Director in identifying strategic opportunities for strengthening Street Child’s work in the country.
- Articulate strategic approaches, partnerships, management/ staffing plans, M&E and budgets.
- Cultivate partnerships, establish links and closely coordinate with relevant government stakeholders, UN agencies, INGO’s, L/NNGO’s, clusters, donors for programme development, including opportunities for consortia.
- Lead the project proposal development (budget, log frame, theory of change etc.) within the framework of the country and global strategy, with support from the programme teams.
- Support Country Director in formalizing a country strategy that aligns with global/regional strategies, priorities and programmes.
(20%) Leadership and Staff Management:
- Managing programme staff including field staff and ensuring direct reports have clear and realistic performance-based management goals
- Ensure that Street Child programme teams comply to Street Child’s security and other relevant operational, financial, logistics, admin, HR, safeguarding, and code of conduct regulations.

The Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth are partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell to recruit a Strategic Programmes Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (28 hours). Role Purpose
To fulfil its Programme Strategy 2022-2027, ShelterBox’s programming will be guided by two Shelter Technical leads, one with a greater focus on emergency response and one with a greater focus on transitional and durable shelters and WASH. The two positions - working in close coordination and collaboration - will collaborate with the Programme Quality and Programme Delivery teams, to maximise the quality of ShelterBox’s programming in alignment with our renewed mission, vision, and strategy, under the leadership of the Head of Programme Quality.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide technical input into shelter and WASH project design and development, ensuring that shelter technical standards are documented in project sheltering strategies and tools, and that these standards are adhered to throughout the project cycle.
- Continually assess ShelterBox’s technical strengths and areas for improvement, identify approaches to addressing areas for improvement and work with relevant colleagues to put these into action.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to needs assessment, project design and delivery, including through participating in project design, reviewing concept notes/proposals and presence in-country where this is necessary to support the quality of high priority activities.
- Support partners technical shelter knowledge and capacity development, ensuring that their activities are aligned with organisational and global humanitarian standards.
