Job description

Programme Finance Officer

Salary: £30,763 - £36,192 annum, depending on experience + good range of benefits

Contract: Fixed-term, full time – 36.5 hours per week

Duration: 18 months (with a view to being made permanent)

Based: Milton Keynes

In this exciting and fast-paced role you will work to amplify the impact of the organisation through grants acquisition and quality management of grant funded programmes. You’ll get to work across the World Vision global partnership to ensure the successful management of a portfolio of projects and programmes in compliance with donor requirements and align to the implementation of the Policy & Programmes grants strategy. You’ll have a key focus on the Most Vulnerable Children, facilitating WV's mission of positively impacting child well-being through your work.

The Key Responsibilities of the Programme Finance Officer role include:

· leading on grant compliance and management of World Vision financial processes and reporting;

· providing technical advice on compliance and financial management of donor funded programmes;

· supporting the development and submission of proposals for grant and commercial contracts

· managing financial and operational risks in programme portfolios;

· maintaining up-to-date information on systems and databases;

· conducting monitoring trips including visits to projects in fragile states and as part of emergency response grants; and

· Working with others to build & improve stakeholders’ relationship
