We have an exciting new role funded by the Welsh Government. The Welsh Language Project Co-ordinator will play an important role in the organisations Cymru’s Cwlwm work. The role supports early years, childcare and playwork practitioners with Welsh language skills
Position: Welsh Language Project Co-ordinator
Location: Home based
Hours: 37 hours per week (part-time considered)
Salary: £24,226
Duration: Funded to 31 March 2023, with possibility of extension subject to funding

The Role
As Welsh Language Project Co-ordinator, you will co-ordinate the Welsh language project, encourage members to embark onto the Camau online self-learning course, and provide ongoing support to practitioners on increasing their use of the Welsh language. Travel will be required to undertake this role.
Main duties include:
- Establish and manage robust procedures and systems to support the co- ordination, delivery and monitoring of the Welsh Language project
- Identify settings and recruitment of practitioners for the delivery of training courses
- Working with Cwlwm partners in the early years, childcare and playwork sector
- Promote the development of Welsh language skills
- Provide support to practitioners to ensure what is learnt in the training is implemented in the workplace
- Development of resources to ensure training influences practice
- Delivery of live interaction sessions with practitioners and other partners
- Collection of data, monitoring and tracking the progress of participants following their completion of the course
- Provide regular written reports identifying progress against targets for Senior Managers and funding bodies.
- Systematically gather and record sector intelligence and research from early years, childcare and play work providers and partners
- Promote the benefits of membership and access to its products, services and support
About You
As Welsh Language Project Co-ordinator, you will have:
- A good standard of education in Welsh and English
- Knowledge of the benefits and value of the Welsh language in the early year’s sector
- Good communication skills - fluent in both English and Welsh
- Experience of using a range of IT applications including Microsoft Office/ Excel
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
- Able to build relationships easily and communicate at all levels,

We are looking for a talented individual to join the NCT Parents in Mind Coventry and Warwickshire team, coordinating the delivery of the perinatal mental health peer support across the area – initially until April 2023, but with the possibility of extension, subject to funding. This role is home-based but will include regular meetings (sometimes at short notice) across Coventry & Warwickshire, so the ability to travel and a flexible approach to working are essential. The post will be for 21 hours per week.
The post holder will use their excellent listening skills, sensitivity and empathy to liaise with service users, volunteer peer supporters and other services/professionals, ensuring that the peer support delivered in the service is safe and effective.
You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to quickly create rapport with volunteers, service users, NCT practitioners and a range of staff from local services. An understanding of mental health support is also essential to the post. This is a complex project, so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently. The post holder will be an ambassador for the service across the locality, so outstanding relationship building skills are vital. Good IT skills will also be required – including use of Outlook, Word and Excel. Ideally you will also have the skills to be able to engage with parents via social media.
It is essential for this post that you are, or undertake the training to become, a Parents in Mind peer supporter. A new and exciting opportunity has risen for an Early Service Leaver Co-ordinator Leaver to join the RFEA at an exciting time as the company is rapidly growing and expanding its endeavours.
The successful candidate will be required to promote and influence the benefits of engagement with CTP Future Horizons (FH) to (Early Service Leavers) ESLs in Scotland, raise awareness of the CTP FH programme provision amongst the military units in Scotland, and co-ordinate and support ESLs to register with CTP FH, DTS, and organisations who can address immediate barriers to employment. This role is home/office based with local and regional travel. Early Service Leaver Co-Ordinator Scotland will spend a considerable amount of time visiting military units and engaging with ESLs.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Encourage and promote the benefits of registering with the CTP FH to ESLs, raising the number of registrations and continued engagement post discharge.
- Deliver the CTP FH presentation to all ESLs who are discharging from the services, by face-to-face or remote when unable to be on-site.
- Develop a social media presence to raise awareness of the programme, its opportunities, and success stories.
- Develop a strong relationship and work in collaboration with the regional CTP FH Employment Advisor Community, ensuring that information is shared accurately and appropriately to support the ESL.

We are looking for three talented individuals to support our Service Delivery Manager and Peer Support Co-ordinator, to deliver a new arm of Parents in Mind perinatal mental health peer support, across East Sussex – initially until the end of June 2024, but with the possibility of extension, subject to funding. This role is home-based but each of the three team leaders will travel (sometimes at short notice) across the Newhaven-Eastbourne-Hastings-High Weald areas (we are ideally looking for staff and volunteers based across these areas, to contain the travel required), so easy access to transport and a flexible approach to working are essential. The three posts will each be for 9 hours per week.
You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to quickly create rapport with volunteers, service users, NCT practitioners and a range of staff from local services. An understanding of mental health support pathways is also essential to the post. This is a complex project and covers multiple locations, so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently. In this largely pastoral role, the core of the work will be ensuring Parents in Mind peer supporters are able to provide service users with safe, well-informed and reliable support, so outstanding relationship building skills are vital.
