Carers Manchester is a partnership of Statutory and Voluntary Sector organisations who work together the plan, enhance and deliver advice and support services for unwaged carers in the city. Through working together, the Carers Manchester Pathway is in place, which supports carers being able to access the right advice and support at the right time in their caring journey.
Gaddum plays a key role in managing the development of the Carers Manchester Pathway, in supporting a Network of Voluntary sector organisations and ensuring that the carers voice is heard in everything that we do.
Following the recent award of a new contract to deliver these services we are looking for a Project Worker to support us in developing a Respite strategy for Manchester unpaid carers and developing and Expert by Experience Carers panel which will ensure that the carers voice is heard in everything we do. Amongst the core tasks in this role will be to:

Support the creation of project management tools for these pieces of work and maintain them.

Lead on consultation activities for the Respite strategy

Support the recruitment of carers who may wish to be involved with the Expert by Experience panel

The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. Job Summary
As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.
You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. Job Purpose
Our Bright Futures programme provides mentoring, employability, and wellbeing support for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller young people aged 14 – 25 years. We believe that increasing opportunities for young people is crucial for the future of their communities. The aim is to enable the next generation to overcome socio-economic barriers, engage in wider society, and be active changemakers for their community.
We are in an exciting growth phase and are looking for 2 Project Workers for the team to rapidly extend programme reach and impact. As part of the team, the Project Workers will together be involved in overall programme planning, delivery, and community outreach with a focus on skills development and employment prospects. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Young Person’s Worker. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing support to at-risk young people who are experiencing homelessness.
Your mission: to support and empower young people to develop the lifelong tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services.
