More about us:
At Battersea, we aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. We give each one lots of love and expert care and get to know their characters and quirks so we can find them a new home that’s just right for them.
All the knowledge we gather in our centres helps us to improve the lives of the animals we’ll never meet, through our work with other rescue organisations and charities. We also help people make informed choices when getting a pet, we provide training and welfare advice, and we campaign for changes in the law when we see that dogs and cats or their owners deserve better.
Join us and help us be here for every dog and cat, wherever they are, for as long as they need us.

We operate a hybrid working model, with our office-based staff splitting their time between site based and home working. We believe this enables our office-based staff to maintain the benefits of home working, while allowing for collaboration and interaction with our animal-facing staff and maintaining a connection to our cause. As such, you’ll be expected to work in our Battersea office for at least 50% of your working week.

At Battersea, we are committed to providing equality of opportunity, and developing and supporting a diverse workforce and inclusive culture in all aspects of our organisation. By hearing from and valuing different experiences, perspectives and contributions, we know we can provide the best expert care for every dog and cat who needs us. We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and from members of minority ethnic communities, who we know are currently under-represented at Battersea.
