This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. For the right person, though, there will be considerable flexibility about how the duties are fulfilled in the longer-term. It is specifically expected that the role will allow for flexible scheduling to accommodate other responsibilities, including caring.
The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. Presently, it employs four full-time ordained ministers, one full-time lay pastor, and a part-time administrator. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. To fulfil this mission, the Circuit fosters a broad spectrum of ministry within its congregations, focusing on worship but also engaging in outreach to the homeless, asylum seekers, new parents, and various other groups. The team
The Northern Ireland team sit within the Energy Directorate of Energy Saving Trust. In Northern Ireland, our main focus is to deliver the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP), but we also are involved in other areas of work and deliver campaigns helping NI householders save energy and money.
There are currently four programme support officers who work very closely to support each other in delivering NISEP and report into the project manager of the team. The team also includes an assistant programme manager and is headed up by the programme manager for NI. The team collaborate with external stakeholders regularly and other teams of Energy Saving Trust.
The role
The programme support officer will be focusing on enabling people in Northern Ireland create warmer homes, reduce their energy bills, and lower their carbon footprint.
NISEP is an £8 million grant programme that provides funding for energy efficiency measures for domestic and commercial properties. Energy Saving Trust are the programme administrator of NISEP on behalf of the Utility Regulator in Northern Ireland.
The role will provide you with an inspiring opportunity to develop your programme management experience, and develop your knowledge in the Energy Access sector, helping our vulnerable customers.
What you’ll do
- Support the smooth running of the Energy Saving Trust NI programme work, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
- A strong focus on the administration of NISEP, including assessing payment claims; reviewing and analysing interim reports as well as other NISEP tasks.
- Liaise with external stakeholders as well as with Energy Saving Trust staff in other offices.
What you’ll bring

Quality Assurance

Lead on Damp and Mould quality inspections and follow up reports. Communicate inspection KPIs to key stakeholders.
Works Delivery
Ensure that all works are completed within agreed time frame work and that this is accurately monitored through weekly WIP reports.
Contractor Management
Ensure strict adherence to Contractor code of conduct and agreed SLAs. Lead contract progress meetings to manage performance.
Complaint and Query Lead
Manage all complaints responses related to repairs from inception and act as escalation point for repairs and void teams.

Location
The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to Bradford City Centre. They’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as they meet their customer’s needs.
They’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
Should you wish to work occasionally from any of their regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via their online booking system.
Salary
The spot salary for this post is £44,559 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

The Executive Management Administration team of 5, headed by the MD, run the organisation on a day-to-day basis. The team is supported by the REB board and committees, together with 3rd party providers for accounting, payroll, banking, media & public relations, website hosting and IT services.
Role and Responsibilities
New Position: Due to the increase in REB memberships and activities, a new full-time events role is being created to support the executive team.
Key Tasks – support the MD in creating and delivering a member engagement and events programme
1. Conception and collaboration of member events, through to completion
2. Promoting events to members, working alongside REB’s external PR/Communications agency
3. Managing event registrations and guest lists
4. Responsible for line managing the events administrator
5. Responsible for REB events planning, logistics, analysis (report & presentation) and follow-up actions
6. Attending meetings with members re event planning and development
7. Reporting quarterly to the board and attending board meetings with the Executive team
Detailed Responsibilities
1. Develop, manage and deliver REB’s event programme (working with MD and ED&I coordinator):
o upload event listings to website;
o prepare invitations;
o liaise with host venues;
o oversee registrations & comms;
o obtain event feedback
2. Monitor and evaluate events including reviewing feedback and attendance
3. Coordinate the CEO Breakfasts series
4. Maintain the Events page on the REB website
5. Maintain a database of venues
6. Identify, approach and secure appropriate speakers and participants for events
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
1. Events management and logistics
2. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of Microsoft Dynamics and Marketing
3. Knowledge (preferably working knowledge) of current best practices and trends in ED&I, including familiarity with key concepts (e.g. allyship, unconscious bias, intersectionality, etc.)

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team on a 14 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be a highly organised, practical and friendly person to manage our office operations, the role is diverse and will suite an all-rounder who is proficient in multi-tasking and problem solving.
You will run a welcoming office for staff and guests and be encouraged to identify and work on new operational projects that will enhance the organisation. This role is an opportunity for a Paralegal to join a large in-house legal team and work on a broad range of matters. It will specifically involve supporting the Agreements, Information and Disputes (AID) team within legal services, consisting of five lawyers.
The successful candidate will be required to work across areas of law including but not limited to information law, contracts, intellectual property, procurement, subsidy and state aid, insolvency, recoveries and public law. In addition to providing research, drafting and general support to the Fund’s lawyers, it is expected that the Paralegal will handle matters under supervision and use legal knowledge to improve the Fund’s internal processes and precedents.
The bulk of the Paralegal’s workload will consist of legal support work however the candidate will also be expected to perform some administrative tasks and cover for the team’s administrative officer when required.
Experience working in a fast paced in-house or private practice environment would be ideal with legal research and IT literacy an advantage. Knowledge of insolvency and debt recovery would be desirable.

The Role
This role will ensure the organisation is following robust financial systems and processes; carry out all day-to-day accounting tasks; and ensure timely production of financial information to inform management decisions. Most tasks can be done from home, however some tasks such as banking and petty cash reconciliation will require you to attend our offices. Once the initial training is complete you will be able to arrange your own hours, to be worked Monday to Friday.
This role is for a fixed period of 12 months, to cover maternity leave.
About You
A proven track record of relevant financial administration experience is essential and competence in the use of Xero accounting software, Excel and other MS packages such as word and Outlook is essential. You will have an organised approach to workload and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the role. You must be able to clearly convey financial information to non-finance colleagues.
This role would suit someone looking to increase their experience of working within the charity sector as part of a busy and friendly finance team, perhaps whilst studying to complete AAT Level 4 or similar.
