This role will play a key part in supporting MMHA’s successful campaigning, including supporting our maternal mental health councils project, and helping drive change so that women, birthing people, babies and families affected by maternal mental health problems can access the right care, at the right time, without discrimination.

Job purpose

Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of MMHA campaign and policy work to improve perinatal mental health care systems, policy and practice in the UK.

Main responsibilities

• Support policy activities relating to MMHA’s Maternal Mental Health Councils project.
• Assist with the production of campaign resources, including desk research, drafting copy, and proof reading.
• Read and summarise policy information, such as reports and carry out data analysis, to support MMHA’s evidence base.
• Lead political monitoring, keeping abreast of tracking relevant policy and political developments to identify opportunities and risks for MMHA’s campaigns and policy priorities.
• Support MMHA’s campaigning across the devolved nations, working with local stakeholders in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to inform, amplify and facilitate campaign activities.
• Hold knowledge of parliamentary procedure and systems to ensure strategic and targeted influencing work, supporting relationships with parliamentarians, including providing clear communications.
• Ensure MMHA’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion runs throughout MMHA’s campaigning and policy work.
• Maintain relationships with range of stakeholders to support MMHA’s campaigning and influencing, including MMHA members, parliamentarians, champions and academics.
• Support campaigning communications activities, including media and social media support, website editing and writing copy for articles or newsletters.
• Keep a library of policy resources and an up-to-date bank of statistics and evidence to support internal and external use.
• Assist the Head of Campaigns and Policy and wider team with administrative and other tasks, including the organisation and facilitation of meetings and events and responding to routine enquiries.
• Help support MMHA projects as required. 
• Work with the team on campaign evaluation.
• Maintain a diary of key campaign dates and events.
• Represent the MMHA at events as required.

Stour Health and Wellbeing Partnership (SHWP) is seeking to appoint a part time Community Builder to work with residents and stakeholders in the more rural Stour areas to foster partnership working, connect and strengthen local communities and to reduce social and rural isolation. By really listening to local people, the post holder will help local communities to identify the challenges faced and what residents want and support them in creating new initiatives or enhancing existing ones to meet these needs. The aim is to improve links between services, existing groups, new initiatives and the community to increase community health and wellbeing. The Communications Department at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) informs, inspires and engages our many audiences about dementia and the progress being made in research. The Corporate Communications Manager will be part of the Strategic Communications team – one of several specialist teams in the wider Department.

The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent and compelling external communications to drive our brand, as well as establishing the charity’s position in key strategic areas and helping to drive value from our corporate partnerships.

They will ensure a clear internal narrative and key messaging for ARUK employees, as well as supporting external communications from the CEO Office. This will include guiding key thought leadership pieces from ARUK’s Senior Leadership Team and ambassadors, informing key stakeholder communications and protecting ARUK’s growing corporate reputation.

The postholder will oversee the charity’s Annual Report and Review and identify opportunities to raise the charity’s profile in key strategic areas of work. The postholder will manage the work of two Corporate Communications Officers.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a secondment.  

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

· Developing and delivering operational plans for the team, working closely with other departments across the charity including Corporate Fundraising and the CEO Office.

· Day-to-day responsibility for the budget of the team, including reforecasting.

· Providing effective team management, exhibiting ARUK’s leadership values, including holding regular 1:1s, providing positive and constructive feedback, managing time and workload, and supporting training and development needs of team members.

· Feeding into the development of department-wide initiatives to improve ways of working, increase engagement and improve the quality of our output.

 Thought Leadership

· Develop and execute high-impact communication strategies that amplify the CEO’s voice across internal and external platforms.

· Craft compelling narratives, speeches, op-eds, and social media content that positions the charity as an industry leader. Identify emerging themes and trends to proactively shape messaging.

· Source, evaluate, and coordinate media opportunities including interviews, podcasts, panels, and profiles. Prepare briefing materials and talking points to ensure consistent and impactful representation.

 Partnership Communications

· Managing the work of a team focused on supporting communications of and to our corporate fundraising partners, including:

- Supporting New Business teams on pitch and proposition development.

- Supporting Partnership Development teams on partnership announcements.

- Providing regular opportunities for Fundraising teams to learn and improve their communication skills, as well as providing consulting support on a range of relevant topics arising within those teams.

· Providing oversight and support for communications around current and future strategic partnerships for ARUK.

Key Messaging

· Responsible for developing and maintaining key messaging documents and guidelines for the Department and ensuring internal teams and external partners are using consistent messaging to underpin the charity’s brand.

 Media Relations

· Coordinating pro-active PR planning, using media metrics to guide decisions and identify key areas of opportunity.

· Agreeing and tracking the use of media key messages.

· Taking an active role in promoting thought leadership pieces on key corporate or strategic issues for the charity.

Cure Parkinson's Research Engagement Manager is responsible for ensuring that the lived experience and perspective of people with Parkinson’s (PwP) is embedded across our research activities. The role includes managing our international Research Advocates Council and supporting public and patient involvement and engagement (PPIE) initiatives. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic chance to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, working within the Delivery team as our new National Cycle Network (NCN) Project Officer.

As the NCN Delivery Project Officer you will support and deliver feasibility and infrastructure construction projects, working closely with team managers to ensure effective project management, community engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and operational delivery. You’ll help drive projects forward in line with organisational goals and compliance standards.

Help & Care has been supporting communities across Dorset and the south coast since 1985. We deliver person-centred services that promote dignity, independence and connection - from dementia coordination and health coaching to our award-winning Roots gardening programme and social prescribing partnerships. Working with over 25 partners across health, housing and the voluntary sector, we co-produce services that make a real difference to older people, those with long-term conditions, carers and people at risk of isolation.

As our next Chief Executive, you will:

• Strategic leadership: Set and deliver a clear, values-led strategy that secures long-term impact and sustainable growth.
• Values leadership: Put Help & Care’s values - social justice, innovation, personal and collaborative - at the heart of decision-making and model them.
• Growth & income diversification: Lead business development, win new contracts, and develop social-enterprise opportunities to reduce reliance on public commissioning.
• Partnerships & advocacy: Strengthen senior-level relationships with NHS, local authorities and commissioners; represent Help & Care across systems, media and networks.
• Service quality & impact: Embed rigorous monitoring and evaluation so our outcomes drive commissioning, improve margins and strengthen our reputation.
• People leadership: Inspire, retain and develop a high-performing, compassionate leadership team and workforce.
• Governance & financial stewardship: Provide the Board with timely, high-quality reporting, oversee financial recovery plans, and ensure robust risk and compliance frameworks.

Who you are:

• An experienced CEO or senior director from complex, multi-service health & social care or community organisations.
• Proven track record in winning commissioned contracts, tendering and contract management.
• Skilled at building strategic partnerships and influencing at senior system level.
• Comfortable leading transformation and financial sustainability work, with demonstrable budgeting and forecasting skills.
• A values-led, collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence, resilience and a commitment to social justice and co-production.

Join Fumble as our new Programme Manager!

We’re Fumble – a bold, creative, and nationally recognised charity on a mission to make digital sexual health information relevant, engaging, fun, and safe for young people aged 13–25. We're five years in, growing fast, and dreaming big for the future. 

We’ve established an exciting programme of digital content co-creation with young people, to support them to successfully manage their sexual health, relationships, and mental health in the digital age, and we’re looking for a brilliant new Programme Manager to head this up.

This is an exciting, rewarding, and hands-on role at the heart of our small Sheffield-based team. You’ll lead the design and delivery of our projects – from the first sparks of an idea all the way through to measuring impact and celebrating success. 

This role is Sheffield-based or hybrid.

The role details

• This is a permanent role at Fumble

• Normal working day at Fumble is 9am - 5:30pm, with a 1h unpaid lunch break (7.5h day)

• 4 days/week (0.8 FTE), Monday - Thursday

  • Exciting note! We’re planning to trial a 4-day working week as an organisation in the near future, once funding is secured.

  • What would this mean? Fumble is preparing to trial a 4 day working week, which would mean a 30h work week across Mon-Thurs, with staff pay and benefits (including holiday allowance) increasing from 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE for everyone.

• £35,000 - £39,000 per year (pro rata, depending on experience)

• Based in our lovely Sheffield office at least 1-2 days/week

• The candidate must have the Right to Work in the UK and pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check with Children's Barred List Check.

We’re looking for someone who…

• Has a creative eye and instinct for engaging, youth-led design

• Brings solid experience in managing freelancers and creative teams (we’re looking for CVs with at least 5+ years of relevant career experience)

• Is confident running charity projects end-to-end – including bid writing and fundraising, planning, people management, deadlines, budgets, and reporting

• Tools you will ideally be confident using include: Google Analytics, Data Studio, Wordpress, a CRM, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Google Drive, including especially Google Sheets.

• Has strong safeguarding knowledge and expertise, particularly for young people, and ideally in both in-person and digital spaces

• Is experienced in both youth engagement and digital content creation and delivery

Key deliverables expected from this role

Here are some of the key deliverables expected from the role in the first 12 months.

1. Programme delivery - youth engagement

• Expand our recent successful pilot project: ‘Healthy relationships for young women and girls’. 

This will include:

• In person delivery, in Sheffield.

• Project planning, session planning, promotion campaign to reach potential participants, facilitation of sessions and/or managing freelance facilitators, impact measurement, reporting.

• Deliver our annual cycle of engaging our Youth Advisory Board (remote, online delivery). This will include:

  • Planning and facilitating sessions via Zoom (supported by our Social Media & Comms Officer); impact measurement and reporting; safeguarding and managing the engagement and retention of members. 

2. Programme delivery - digital content and campaigns

• Delivery of our planned ‘Sexual health Q&As between young people & doctors’ campaign. This will include:

  • A series of video content, co-created with young people, for a social media campaign and series of associated website articles on the Fumble website. 

3. Supporting our safeguarding

• Supporting safeguarding at Fumble, as our Designated Safeguarding Officer. You’ll bring previous experience of effective safeguarding to help us build on our policy and practice. 

• This will include:

  • Conduct / manage annual safeguarding training for Fumble team & stakeholder groups

  • Maintain DBS checks

  • Communicate with external safeguarding agencies & expert advisors (where relevant)

  • Ensure safeguarding info is visible on the website and in sessions, and 

  • Ensure safeguarding continues to be embedded in a meaningful way across all of Fumble’s activities. 

4. Impact measurement

• Participate in the team’s development of our recently introduced impact measurement framework

• Design any additional tools needed for evaluating youth sessions, campaigns, and content.

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data (e.g. surveys, feedback forms, analytics).

• Report on outcomes and impact.

• Engage young people in co-evaluation methods where possible.

5. Supporting our fundraising 

• Participate in the team’s collective fundraising efforts. This includes:

  • identifying funding opportunities for Fumble, writing and reviewing bids, and writing reports for funders.
