About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director - Financial Services you will be responsible for the day to day management of the purchase ledger and expenses team to ensure that the purchase ledger and expenses functions are running efficiently and all payments are timely and accurate.

To perform this role, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in management of a team of at least 3 – Essential
  • Experience on Sun Accounts Version 6 – Essential
  • Experience in Electronic Document Management System – Desirable
  • Experience of computerised accounting systems – Essential
  • Experience managing a transaction posting and reconciliation function in a medium sized company – Essential
  • Experience of Q&A Excel Reporting - Desirable
  • Experienced in accounting terminology and a good understanding of double entry in relations to posting expenditure – Essential
  • Experience of processing staff expenses in line with HMRC guidelines – Essential
  • Experienced and competent user of Excel or other spread sheet applications - Essential
  • Effective communicator with a high standard or written English and a good verbal skills – Essential
  • Proven report writing ability – Essential

Location: London Support Office (hybrid working, 2 days per week in London office).

Full-time: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday (UK contracted hours).

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £51,000 per annum for UK based candidates. Discretionary bonus + benefits.

Salary band: BG 9
