Key Responsibilities:
- With the support of the Senior Philanthropy and Special Events Manager, help deliver creative stewardship and engagement opportunities across the Philanthropy portfolio
- Provide excellent administration and organisational skills to support the delivery of successful special events throughout the year (to include Place2Be’s Arts & Minds Gala dinner, Carol Concert, private dinners, school visits and drinks receptions)
- Lead on production of the team’s 6-monthly major donor update report, writing copy, gathering case studies, and designing the report using Canva or InDesign
- Work closely with the wider Fundraising team to spot and develop opportunities and support fundraising activity across the team
- Follow best practice in all aspects of fundraising and keep abreast of Place2Be’s policies and the latest developments in philanthropy and special events fundraising
What you will need:
- Experience of working in a philanthropy or fundraising role where excellent customer service skills are required, or relevant experience/transferable skills
- Experience of basic use of design software e.g. Canva, InDesign or equivalent
- Experience of organising fundraising or engagement events
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel and experience of working with in-house database systems
- Knowledge of charity/fundraising legislation.

About the role
The London Library is looking for a Reception Supervisor to be responsible for the efficient running of the Library’s Reception ensuring an excellent customer service experience is provided to members of, and visitors to, the Library throughout our opening hours.
The role includes answering questions about membership and services in person, by phone and email, giving tours to prospective members and assisting with membership processing and administration.
This is a brand-new role for the Library, with a potential to grow and develop. It will join our busy Member Services department and will manage our small team of Membership Assistants who cover the main entrance reception desk.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. Location: The post will be based in the office at Inspire St James Church, EC1R 0EA, but we are open to hybrid working arrangements.
Hours: Inspire St James operates core working hours of 9am - 6pm. This role is provisionally 40 hours per week but we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, job-shares, flexible start and finish times or compressed hours.
