Apart of Me

Who we are

We are a start up charity set up to help young people who have lost a loved one. Apart of Me is the world's first therapeutic game to focus on youngsters, particularly those from
disadvantaged backgrounds, to talk about death, cope with grief and prevent serious mental health
problems from developing.
Our vision is to build community and connection for grieving young people both on and off-line and
to help young people around the world transform their grief into compassion for themselves, others
and the world around them.
Launched in the UK in December 2018 and worldwide in early 2019, this award-winning app has
been downloaded over 71,000 times since launch. 
Nothing else like Apart of Me exists currently anywhere in the world. There are no other interactive
digital tools using gaming technology that translate the best therapeutic techniques and practices
for dealing with grief into a safe virtual space.
