Who we are

The Association of Service Drop-In Centres, or ASDIC, is the umbrella membership organisation for Drop-Ins. It provides both the glue which holds the network together and the WD40 which makes it more efficient and effective. We believe in the total and ongoing wellbeing of every veteran and their positive transition into the community.

Drop-In Centres provide a new and informal concept of veterans’ welfare. They give support and advice, usually from those who have served themselves and have experience of the often confusing world after service life. Drop-Ins come in all shapes and sizes; there is no set format or discipline - but they are all dedicated to providing a one-stop-shop for those who need assistance. Veterans of the Merchant Navy and emergency services, as well as the Armed Forces, are also welcomed.
