Who we are
Registered in 2016, CatalyticAction works to empower vulnerable communities through strategic and innovative spatial interventions. Our work aims at alleviating poverty and inequalities by catalysing positive change. We focus on our process rather than just the final product. To enhance community resilience, we adopt three interconnected phases throughout the development of each project: participatory planning, sustainable design, community-engaged construction.
CatalyticAction’s long term objective is that construction projects place the empowerment of local communities at the centre of each decision from ideation to implementation. We achieve this by influencing the approach of world leading NGOs, donor organisations, and governments.
